BASEBALL: Lasith Narasinghe lifts Cimarron over Shadow Ridge

Lasith Narasinghe went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs and three RBIs, and Cimarron-Memorial’s baseball team scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 4-4 tie and defeat visiting Shadow Ridge 8-4 on Tuesday.

Noah Parker was 1-for-3 with three RBIs, and winning pitcher Zach Culver had two RBIs and two runs for Cimarron. Trevor Doyle added a double for the Spartans, who trailed 4-0 after two innings.

Nick Erickson went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and an RBI for Shadow Ridge. Justin Lee added a double for the Mustangs.

Bonanza 6, Sierra Vista 3 — At Sierra Vista, Julian DeLeon went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Julio Seperich was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI as the Bengals topped the Mountain Lions.

Danny Ruiz went 2-for-3, and winning pitcher Luis Lares notched seven strikeouts to earn the win for Bonanza, which scored four runs in the second inning to take a 4-1 lead.

Dunkley Davis pitched two innings of relief to earn the save.

Matthew Vanderberg went 2-for-4 with a double for Sierra Vista.

Northridge (Colo.) 6, Faith Lutheran 4 — At Faith Lutheran, Lucas Dockery drove in two runs, but the Crusaders gave up three runs in the top of the sixth inning and lost to the Grizzlies.

Liam Bredin went 2-for-2 for Faith Lutheran, which issued 12 bases on balls and hit one batter.

Eldorado 7, Canyon Springs 3 — At Canyon Springs, Jordan Eldred tossed a complete game, fanning nine and allowing seven hits, to guide the Sundevils by the Pioneers.

Mario Gonzales and Miguel Rodriguez each drove in two runs for Eldorado, which got two hits apiece from Aaron Rogers and Trevor Lavenberg.

Trevor Berkemeyer and Isaiah Brown both finished 2-for-3 to lead Canyon Springs.

Basic 9, Las Vegas 4 — At Las Vegas, Erik Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and John Howard Bobo was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to help the Wolves down the Wildcats.

Trace Evans went 2-for-3 with a run, and Garrett Giles and Jack Wold each hit a double for Basic, which pulled away with a six-run seventh inning.

Kevin Verduzco and David Campbell each went 2-for-3 for Las Vegas.

Palo Verde 14, Arbor View 7 — At Palo Verde, Jaret Godman went 5-for-5 with a pair of three-run homers and seven RBIs to lead the Panthers past the Aggies.

Twin brother Jacob Godman was 4-for-5 with a double and four RBIs, and Ryan Merino went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Palo Verde, which also got two hits and two RBIs from Chandler Kochan.

Joe Fitzhugh hit a home run and had two RBIs to lead Arbor View. Nick Cornman went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Jesse Pierce had a double and two RBIs for the Aggies.

Foothill 8, Valley 0 — At Valley, Jake Perales fired a five-hit shutout with nine strikeouts, and Chayse Parenteau went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBIs in the Falcons’ win over the Vikings.

Anthony Pannullo drove in two runs. Nathan Young with 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, and Andrew Hauck was 2-for-4 with two runs for Foothill.

Centennial 11, Legacy 1 — At Centennial, winning pitcher Zack Simons went 2-for-3 with a double, a grand slam and six RBIs to power the Bulldogs past the Longhorns.

Simons struck out four and walked none, and teammate Gino Sabey was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs for Centennial, which led 7-1 after two innings.

Diego Portillo went 3-for-3 with a run, and Jacob Crawford had an RBI for Legacy.

Spring Valley 14, Durango 3 — At Durango, Nick Rupp tossed a five-hitter with seven strikeouts, and Jack Sellinger belted a three-run home run as the Grizzlies routed the Trailblazers in five innings.

Bryce Bullock was 2-for-2 with a two-run homer, and teammates Humberto Maldonado and Chase Rodriguez also homered for Spring Valley. Shea Hamilton finished 3-for-3 for the Grizzlies.

Duke Pahukoa had a two-run home run to pace Durango.

Desert Oasis 14, Clark 3 — At Clark, Brett Brocoff was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs as the Diamondbacks routed the Chargers in six innings.

Jason Sharman and Chaison Miklich each supplied two hits and three RBIs for Desert Oasis, which had 14 hits.

Matthew Thompson went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead Clark.

Mineral County 17, Round Mountain 5 — At Round Mountain, Corbin Jensen went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in the Knights’ five-inning loss to the Serpents.

Austin Anderson was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Tristan Mayfield had an RBI for Round Mountain, which trailed 6-0 after two innings.

Beaver Dam 15-11, Spring Mountain 0-13 — At Littlefield, Arizona, Adrian Salazar threw a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in the opener to help the teams split a doubleheader.

Salazar walked just one batter, and Beaver Dam scored six runs apiece in the third and fourth innings to cruise to victory.

In the second game, Christopher Ortiz went 3-for-4 with four runs and an RBI, and Rajohn Coleman had two RBIs and five stolen bases to lead the Golden Eagles past the Diamondbacks.

Maryun Reynolds was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Anthony Ybarra was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Spring Mountain, which led 9-4 after four innings.

Jose Avila was 1-for-2 with three runs and four RBIs, and David Ceja had two RBIs for Beaver Dam.

Calvary Chapel 16-18, Mountain View 3-0 — At Calvary Chapel, the Lions swept a doubleheader from the Saints, winning the first game in five innings and the second in three.

In the first game, Ryan Carroll hit a three-run triple, and Kennedy Campbell went 2-for-2 with four RBIs for Calvary Chapel.

Nathan Santiago doubled and drove in all three runs for Mountain View.

In the second game, winning pitcher Kade Sellers gave up no hits and went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and three runs. Gage Terry was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and Alec Neider went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for the Lions.
