Outlook: The Falcons tied for third in the Southeast League last year, and with seven starters returning, should be in position to have success again.
Cardinale (5-2, 2.91 ERA, 35 strikeouts), Van Stone (5-1, 1.87 ERA, 39 K) and Lopez combined to throw more than 106 innings last season, and Iglitz expects the trio to see plenty of work on the mound again.
Madris hit .457 with 26 RBIs last season and will be joined in the lineup by Lopez (.417, 22 RBIs) and Morris (.364, 2 HR, 31 RBIs).
"Offensively, Foothill should be well-balanced throughout the lineup with all projected starters having recorded at least 50 at-bats in 2012," Iglitz said. "Foothill expects to contend for a playoff berth."
