Top players: RF Jesse Keiser (Jr.), P/2B Chris Bradford (Sr.), P Nate Bennett (Sr.), SS Jay Martz (Jr.), 1B Josh McCollum (Jr.), CF Preston Pavlica (So.), LF/P Dan Skelly (Jr.), LF/P Giovanni Battistoni (Sr.), 3B/P Griffin Kelly (Sr.)

Outlook: The Patriots have 16 lettermen back from a team that narrowly missed earning a spot in the postseason.

Keiser (.434, 2 home runs), Bradford (.407), Kelly (.355), Martz (.364, 2 HR), McCollum (.330, 3 HR) and Pavlica (.327) should again be among the leaders on offense.

Bradford had a 3.61 ERA, and Bennett had a 3.57 ERA last season.

"We have nine seniors who should supply good leadership," Didier said. "If we can play defense, we should be a contender for a playoff berth."
