Roundup: Anthony Charles hits walk-off double for Pahrump

Anthony Charles hit a two-run double with two outs in the bottom of the seventh on Monday to lift Pahrump Valley’s baseball team to a 4-3 home win over Mojave.
Charles finished 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for Pahrump, which rallied for three runs in the seventh.
Garret Lucas tossed a complete game to earn the victory, and Chase McDaniel went 2-for-4 with a run for the Trojans.
Mojave’s Eurico Rodriguez-Cardenas went 2-for-2 with a double. Caleb Forepaugh was 2-for-4 with a double, and Mike Cianci went 2-for-3 for the Rattlers.
Boulder City 3, Virgin Valley 2 — At Boulder City, Rhett Armstrong’s RBI single with one out in the bottom of the seventh gave the Eagles the win over the Bulldogs.
Virgin Valley led 2-1 going to the bottom of the seventh, but Chafton Temple scored on an error to tie the game and set up Armstrong’s game winner.
Armstrong also went the distance, allowing a pair of unearned runs on six hits, to get the win. He struck out 13 with one walk.
Spring Valley 11, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Braxton Bruschke pitched a four-hitter and drove in two runs to lead the Grizzlies over the Bengals in five innings.
Bruschke struck out nine with no walks and went 2-for-4.
Kade Higgins was 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Chase Rodriguez tripled and drove in three runs for Spring Valley.
Western 4, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Tyler Matthews allowed two unearned runs in 6⅓ innings with seven strikeouts to lead the Warriors over the Desert Shields.
Mark Gastelum was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Western, which scored three runs in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie.
Angel Astorga doubled for Cheyenne.
Sierra Vista 11, Clark 3 — At Clark, Josh DeGuzman was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs to lead the Mountain Lions over the Chargers.
Daymien Yohner doubled and knocked in two for the Mountain Lions, and Ryan Loy had a double.
Luke Miles was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Chargers.
Bishop Gorman 18, Durango 4 — At Durango, Tyler Curtis went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs as the Gaels beat the Trailblazers in six innings.
Christian Lamar was 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and John Gaughan went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs for Gorman. Dutch Landis added a homer and three rBIs for the Gaels.
Durango’s Justin Lucas went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and Duke Pahukoa was 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Trailblazers.
Chaparral 15, Tech 0 — At Chaparral, the Cowboys took advantage of 10 walks and six hit batters in a four-inning win over the Roadrunners.
Robert O’Connor was 1-for-2 with three RBIs, and Rodney Elosegui went 1-for-3 with three RBIs for Chaparral, which had just five hits.
Christian Calzada threw a one-hitter with four strikeouts and a walk to get the win.
Desert Pines 16, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars scored 15 runs in the third inning to rout the Miners.
Juan Castaneda went 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs and also pitched three shutout innings to get the win. Castaneda allowed one hit and struck out sevven.
Moapa Valley 10, Del Sol 0 — At Overton, Chase Hadley threw a three-hitter with four strikeouts as the Pirates defeated the Dragons in five innings.
Chase Guseman was 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Coby Longman went 2-for-2 with a double, a run and an RBI for Moapa Valley.
Luke Bennett added two hits and two runs for the Pirates.
The Meadows 15, Adelson School 0 — At The Meadows, Brett Lieuallen went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs and an RBI as the Mustangs beat the Lions in four innings.
Sam Kaplan was 2-fof-4 with a double, a run adn three RBIs, and Jerry Appelhans went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for The Meadows.
Try Covell struck out seven in three scoreless innings to pick up the victory.
Mordechai Shirit was 2-for-2 with a double for Adelson School.
Indian Springs 15, Lake Mead 8 — At Heritage Park, Zackary Williams was 2-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs to lead the Thunderbirds over the Eagles.
Wrench Perry went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Elyas Jones was 2-for-6 with three runs and two RBIs for Indian Springs, which scored six runs in the fifth to break a 5-5 tie.
Bailey Larkin and Zack Reimer each added two hits for Indian Springs.
Mitch Dolinar went 2-for-4 with a double and a run for Lake Mead.
Liberty Baptist 9, Beaver Dam 5 — At Littlefield, Arizona, Trevor Campbell was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs as the Eagles beat the Diamondbacks in the first game of a doubleheader.
Liberty Baptist won the second game by forfeit after Beaver Dam’s coach was ejected in the first inning.
