ROUNDUP: Centennial nips Shadow Ridge on Bevilacqua’s two-out double

Blane Bevilacqua’s two-out double in the bottom of the seventh scored Justin Gault to give Centennial a 4-3 victory over visiting Shadow Ridge on Friday.
Bryan Faucher was hit by a pitch to start the rally. Pinch-runner Gault then stole second, and Bevilacqua hit a two-strike pitch off the left-field fence to score the winning run.
Loral Monson had a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game for the Bulldogs.
Faucher and Bruce Lewallen each went 2-for-3 for Centennial.
Brandon Show was 2-for-3 with a run, and Sean Hobbs had two hits for Shadow Ridge. Bruce Butler blasted a home run for the Mustangs.
Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Palo Verde, Christian Centrella went 3-for-3 with a fifth-inning homer to lift the Panthers past the Spartans.
Kevin Dorantes went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Cimarron, which fell short despite a sixth-inning rally.
Durango 4, Pahrump Valley 3 — At Durango, Mike Neighbors hit a walk-off home run to left with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to give the Trailblazers the win over the Trojans.
Josh Hull went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for Durango. Three pitchers combined on a four-hitter for the Trailblazers.
Bonanza 16, Western 0 — At Western, sophomore left-hander Dominic Jeppi tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out eight and walking two, to lead the Bengals past the Warriors.
Sean Emry went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and two RBIs for Bonanza. Kris Bryant was 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple, three runs and three RBIs for the Bengals.
Heriberto Orozco was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs for Bonanza. Hunter Davidson added a triple and two RBIs on 2-for-2 hitting for the Bengals.
Sierra Vista 11, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Connor Klein was 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs in the Mountain Lions’ win over the Diamondbacks.
Scotty Tomassetti was 2-for-4 with a home run for Sierra Vista. Teammate Billy Santiwan went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and three RBIs, and Julian Cutolo batted 2-for-4 with a double.
Faith Lutheran 17, Cheyenne 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Devin Chavez went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to help the Crusaders to the five-inning rout of the Desert Shields.
Brett Yee was 2-for-3 with three runs and an RBI for Faith Lutheran.
Bishop Gorman 15, Spring Valley 1 — At Gorman, Johnny Field was 2-for-2 with a triple, a homer and six RBIs to help the Gaels to the five-inning win.
Eric Van Meetren went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, a solo homer and two runs for Gorman. Joey Gallo added a double and a homer for the Gaels.
Neil Lawhorn had a home run, and T.J. White and Andrew Church combined on a three-hitter.
 
Cameron Cole was 2-for-2 for Spring Valley.
Liberty 12, Boulder City 10 — At Boulder City, Teddy Efthemeou and Chris Bradford hit back-to-back RBI doubles in the top of the eighth to give the Patriots the win over the Eagles.
 
Efthemeou went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs, and also got the win in relief. Marcos Rivera doubled twice for Liberty.
Nate Hafen and Ryan Washburn each had two hits and two RBIs for Boulder City.
Foothill 6, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Kris Soto and Brandon Van Stone combined on a five-hit shutout to lead the Falcons past the Sundevils.
 
Jake Ferdinand tripled to lead a balanced attack for Foothill.
Isaiah Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a double for Eldorado.
Virgin Valley 13-8, Moapa Valley 1-0 — At Mesquite, Zach Horlacher was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, four runs and four RBIs in the opener to help the Bulldogs sweep a doubleheader from the Pirates.
Virgin Valley’s Jason Wittwer pitched a five-inning three-hitter with seven strikeouts in the first game.
Daniel Gleave and Brandt Eaton combined on a three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts for the Bulldogs in the nightcap.
White Pine 9-23, Mountain View 5-0 — At Mountain View, Josh Britton fired a five-inning no-hitter with 15 strikeouts in the nightcap to highlight the Bobcats’ sweep of the Saints.
Aaron Trujillo homered in the second game for the Bobcats.
In the opener, White Pine’s Levi Valdez struck out eight in a complete game and hit a solo home run.
Mountain View’s T.J. Engel went 3-for-3 in the first game.
Needles 12-19, Calvary Chapel 2-2 — At Calvary Chapel, Matt McAndrews, Aaron Hetrick and Bobby Stahel each homered to help the Mustangs sweep a pair of five-inning games from the Lions.
McAndrews struck out 12 in a complete game in the opener, and Jared Enderle went the distance with 10 strikeouts in the second game.
West Wendover 16-15, Agassi Prep 5-2 — At Agassi Prep, Xavier Lara was 4-for-5 with two home runs in the opener to help the Wolverines to a sweep of the Stars.
Pahranagat Valley 16-13, Trinity 5-3 — At Rivera Field, Brandon Miller went 5-for-9 with three doubles in two five-inning games to lead the Panthers to the sweep and at least a share of the Class 1A Southern League title.
Kade Wadsworth fired a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts in the nightcap for the Panthers. Teammate Tyson Sparrow went 2-for-2.
In the first game, Trinity’s Gage Neuwohner was 2-for-2 with two runs.
