Roundup: Cimarron-Memorial puts away Legacy

Cimarron-Memorial’s baseball team scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning to support starting pitcher Seth Hoffman, who allowed two hits and struck out five in six innings of work in a 4-2 home victory over Legacy on Tuesday afternoon.

Derek Decolati was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Cimarron, and Hoffman went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Brandon Carter was 1-for-3 with a double for Legacy.

Tech 3, Del Sol 2 — At Tech, winning pitcher Jose Leon drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh, bringing home Adrian Perez and giving the Roadrunners the win over the Dragons.

Leon tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts and supplied a single, two RBIs and a run scored for Tech.

Gabe Kermode and Sean Jones each had two hits for the Roadrunners.

Jose Galicia had two hits and an RBI, Joshua Ortega doubled, and Chandler Miller hit a triple for Del Sol.

Virgin Valley 4, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Jayden Perkins was 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Booker Wakefield doubled as the Bulldogs beat the Pirates.

Gavin Hadley was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Moapa Valley.

Palo Verde 6, Centennial 2 — At Palo Verde, Tyler Kim went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs to help the Panthers hold off the Bulldogs.

Bryce Robison went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI for Palo Verde, and EJ Arnold was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Mike Jones and Garrett Holden had RBIs for Centennial.

Desert Oasis 17, Spring Valley 6 — At Spring Valley, Izzy Gutierrez was 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs as the Diamondbacks routed the Grizzlies.

Chaison Miklich went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and teammate Zac Czerniawski added four RBIs for Spring Valley.

Erik Dulittle had three RBIs, and Kade Higgins drove in two for Spring Valley.

Durango 8, Bonanza 2 — At Durango, Daniel Huaben threw a complete game for the Trailblazers, allowing six hits and one earned run en route a win against the Bengals.

Ryan Barry went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Durango, and Duke Pahukoa went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Ryan Webster and MaKai DeSoto had RBIs for the Bengals.

Bishop Gorman 10, Clark 0 — At Gorman, Thomas Dilandri went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for the Gaels in a six-inning win over the Chargers.

Christian Lamar went 1-for-3 with three RBIs for Gorman, and Camden Kay and Michael Delario combined to throw a shutout.

Luke Miles went 2-for-3 for Clark.

Boulder City 11, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, starting pitcher Rhett Armstrong threw a shutout to propel the Eagles over the Cowboys.

Teddy Lobkowicz went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Boulder City, and Anthony Pacifico added a double and an RBI.

James Cobian doubled for Chaparral.

Indian Springs 10, Mountain View 0 — At Indian Springs, four Thunderbirds pitchers combined to throw a perfect game against the Saints in five innings.

Jordan Flamm went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Indian Springs.

Laughlin 16-31, Democracy Prep 1-5 — At Laughlin, the Cougars swept a doubleheader against the Blue Knights.
