ROUNDUP: Corral delivers in clutch as Miners top Roadrunners

Sunrise Mountain’s Ricardo Corral belted a two-out, two-run single in the top of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and help the Miners to a 9-6 road victory over Tech on Thursday.
Sunrise Mountain trailed 6-3 entering the seventh.
Daniel Guardado went 3-for-4 with two triples, a double, two runs and two RBIs for Sunrise Mountain, and teammate Ernesto Senda was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs.
Valley 7, Basic 6 — At Basic, the Vikings held off a late rally to defeat the Wolves.
Marcus Mejia went 2-for-4 with two doubles for Valley, and teammate Carlos Bueno hit 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Andy Chaves was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead Basic, which appeared to tie the game with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. But pinch runner Aaron Ferrington was ruled out for failing to touch home on a close play at the plate.
Las Vegas 5, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, pitcher Erick Fedde went the distance and drove in three runs as the Wildcats topped the Gators.
Fedde hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning to give the Wildcats a 2-1 lead.
Dustin Cash was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Las Vegas.
Chad Whiteaker went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Gators.
Rancho 3, Liberty 2 — At Liberty, Brandon Pletsch hit an RBI single with two outs in the top of the sixth to give the Rams a win over the Patriots.
Pletsch was 2-for-4, and Jason Turner went 2-for-2 with a run for Rancho, which trailed 2-1 entering the sixth.
Kevin Kline pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to get the win, and Eric Holdren retired all three batters he faced in the seventh to earn a save.
Danny Topps went 2-for-4 with a double for Liberty.
Coronado 12, Spring Valley 11 — At Spring Valley, Steven Pollex was 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run and four RBIs to lead the Cougars past the Grizzlies.
Taylor Giordano went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Dalton Paul was 2-for-4 with two runs for Coronado, which scored eight runs in the second inning.
Spring Valley’s Dylan Drachler was 5-for-5 with a triple, three runs and four RBIs, and teammate Tyler Kartler was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs.
Faith Lutheran 8, Desert Oasis 6 — At Faith Lutheran, David Edson went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Michael Kinkenon had a triple as the Crusaders held off the Diamondbacks.
Starting pitcher Brenden Meyer had five strikeouts to earn the win.
The Diamondbacks scored four runs in the top of the seventh, but couldn’t complete the rally.
Silverado 12, Chaparral 6 — At Silverado, the Skyhawks used a 15-hit attack to defeat the Cowboys.
Trevor Johnson went 3-for-4 with a double to lead Silverado, which took over with eight runs on seven hits in the fourth inning.
Ciros Burdier went 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs to lead Chaparral.
Desert Pines 4, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Juan Cruz and Roberto Hernandez combined on a four-hitter as the Jaguars topped the Pirates.
Cruz allowed a run on three hits in five innings, and Hernandez struck out four and allowd an unearned run in two innings of work to get the save.
Saul Navarrete was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI for Desert Pines.
Cimarron-Memorial 10, Boulder City 0 — At Cimarron, Kevin Dorantes was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and four RBIs to help the Spartans to the five-inning win.
Travis Hendry thew four innings of one-hit ball with six strikeouts to get the win. Dorantes threw a scoreless fifth with two strikeouts.
Cody Stafford went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI, and Nick Borowski added two hits for Cimarron.
Shadow Ridge 11, Desert Hills (Utah) 1 — At St. George, Utah, Troy Williams belted a two-run home run, and Logan Hold tossed a five-inning two-hitter to lead the Mustangs to the easy win.
Josh Roelofs, Mitchell Shields, Brandon Show and Bruce Butler each had two hits for Shadow Ridge.
Mountain View 15, Indian Springs 3 — At Mountain View, Korey Wood went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, and the Saints made the most of six hits to roll to a four-inning victory over the Thunderbirds in the Spring Slam.
Mountain View broke open the game by scoring 11 runs in the third inning.
The Meadows 10, Mountain View 5 — At Mountain View, Brandon Thomas’ grand slam keyed a seven-run fourth inning as the Mustangs topped the Saints in a five-inning game in the Spring Slam.
Ryan Wells homered immediately following Thomas’ shot. Winning pitcher Bobby Pisanelli and Garrett Goose each had two hits for The Meadows.
Trevor Van Kempen, Luke Faubel and Wood each had two hits, and Ivalyo Iliev homered for Mountain View.
Needles 21-21, Lake Mead 1-0 — At Needles, Matt McAndrews threw a no-hitter in the nightcap as the Mustangs earned the doubleheader sweep.
Sandy Valley 5-18, Trinity 1-2 — At Sandy Valley, Patrick Hudson clubbed a grand slam in the nightcap to highlight the Sidewinders’ sweep of the Thunder.
