Roundup: Daniel Jimenez helps Las Vegas walk off a winner

Daniel Jimenez’s solo home run with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning Monday lifted host Las Vegas High to a 5-4 win over Spring Valley in a non-league baseball game.
Jimenez was 2-for-3 and scored three runs, and Trevor Johnson went 2-for-2 with a double for the Wildcats. Nathan Freimuth was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Las Vegas.
Kade Higgins was 3-for-3, and Michael Marraro went 3-for-4 for the Grizzlies. Cesar Perez was 2-for-3 for Spring Valley.
Sierra Vista 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron, Alan Gaber’s two-out double in the top of the eighth inning plated Nathan Blazek with the go-ahead run as the Mountain Lions edged the Spartans.
Blazek also doubled in the eighth for Sierra Vista, which escaped a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.
Will Zadrowski was 2-for-4 for Cimarron.
Clark 5, Desert Pines 2 — At Clark, Dylan King tossed a four-hitter and struck out 12 to lead the Chargers by the Jaguars.
Elijah Fuchs went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Kevin Ostfeld was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Clark.
James Greco was 2-for-3 with a double, and Jorge Milian had a two-run double for Desert Pines.
Pahrump Valley 5, Indio (Calif.) 0 — At Thermal, California, Dylan Grossell was 2-for-4 with three RBIs as the Trojans took down the Rajahs in the Coachella Valley Tournament.
Jalen Denton was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and Tyler Floyd was 2-for-3 for Pahrump.
Cyle Havel tossed a four-hitter and struck out five for the Trojans.
Pahrump Valley 6, Rancho Mirage (Calif.) 3 — At Thermal, California, Joey Koenig was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs to help the Trojans defeat the Rattlers in the Coachella Valley Tournament.
Denton, Willie Lucas and Roman Roberts all went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Pahrump.
Lincoln County 11, Beaver (Utah) 3 — At Beaver, Utah, Kamdon Lewis was 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBIs to lift the Lynx over the Beavers.
Kobe Walker was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and winning pitcher Mason Thornock was 2-for-4 for Lincoln County.
