ROUNDUP: Gallo’s three-run homer helps Gaels blitz Warriors

Joey Gallo’s three-run home run capped an 11-run first inning Saturday as Bishop Gorman’s baseball team posted a 14-4 home win over Western in five innings.
T.J. White went 3-for-4 and scored two runs for the Gaels. Trey Hoppel was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Tyler Baker went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Gorman.
Josh Yocum was 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double for Western.
SOFTBALL
Del Sol 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Del Sol, Stephanie Keller tossed a five-hitter with eight strikeouts and went 2-for-2 with three runs scored to lead the Dragons to a five-inning win over the Mountain Lions.
Samantha Rivera was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs, and Amber Huggins went 2-for-3 with two runs for Del Sol.
Sabrina Brandt went 2-for-2 for Sierra Vista, and Nikki Stever was 2-for-3.
Canyon View (Utah) 7, Bonanza 2 — At Bonanza, the Falcons used a five-run third inning to pull away from the Bengals.
Nicolette Lind hit a solo home run in the first inning for Bonanza.
Lincoln County 15, Tonopah 0 — At Panaca, Chelsea Lloyd had a pair of doubles, and the Lynx broke out to an 11-0 lead after two innings to cruise past the Muckers in a five-inning game.
Lloyd was one of seven players with at least one extra-base hit for Lincoln County.
