ROUNDUP: Holdren’s homer lifts Rancho over Chaparral

Eric Holdren’s two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning gave Rancho a 4-3 home win over Chaparral on Tuesday.
Holdren, who also doubled, then pitched a scoreless seventh to pick up a save.
Chaparral’s Jordan January was 3-for-3 with a double and a triple.
Palo Verde 8, Green Valley 7 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers scored six runs in the seventh to escape with a victory over the Gators.
Dustin Morelli’s single to right with bases loaded brought home the winning run. Palo Verde’s Christian Centrella hit a home run, and
Brian Szepelak and Alex Bonczyk each added a double.
Nick Libonati had a double and Tyler Blair a triple for Green Valley.
Spring Valley 6, Coronado 2 — At Coronado, Enzo Bello went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Grizzlies over the Cougars.
Aaron Blair and Billy Bob Ward each had two hits and an RBI and Jackson Morrow added a double for Spring Valley.
Coronado’s Cody Giordano had a two-run homer, and Alex Watson went 2-for-2 for the Cougars.
Cheyenne 14, Eldorado 13 — At Cheyenne, Marquise Hall went 2-for-3 and Brandon Duhon was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to help the Desert Shields edge the Sundevils.
Cheyenne scored 14 runs on 15 hits, including a run in the bottom of the seventh to win.
Jerraco Lindsey was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs and Andrew Grams went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Cheyenne.
Las Vegas 15, Desert Pines 4 — At Desert Pines, Tanner Chauncey was 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs scored to help the Wildcats to a five-inning win over the Jaguars.
Las Vegas’ Bryce Harper was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and three RBIs, and Quinnton Mack was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and two RBIs for the Wildcats.
Valley 17, Canyon Springs 4 — At Canyon Springs, winning pitcher Dayan Oses was 4-for-5 with a triple and six RBIs as the Vikings beat the Pioneers in six innings.
Durango 16, Clark 2 — At Clark, Danny Reynolds was 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs to help the Trailblazers defeat the Chargers.
Zac Hollenback went 2-for-2 and scored three runs and Greg McKinney and Cameron Coombs each had a double for Durango.
Tom Hoag had a double for Clark, which gave up 10 runs in the fifth.
Pahrump Valley 9, Western 0 — At Western, Michael Gonzalez tossed a four-hitter to lead the Trojans past the Warriors.
Gonzalez struck out eight and walked four.
Danny Cazier was 4-for-4 with a double and Eddie Martinez went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs for Pahrump.
Moapa Valley 13, Shadow Ridge 6 — At Shadow Ridge, Matt Newton was 4-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and four runs as the Pirates defeated the Mustangs.
Needles 11, Boulder City 1 — At Needles, Matt McAndrews pitched a five-inning four-hitter to lead the Mustangs past the Eagles.
McAndrews gave up one run, one walk and one hit batter. He struck out 10.
Stevie Kidd was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Needles. Bobby Stahel (two RBIs) and Nathan Hetrick were both 2-for-3.
Lake Mead 23, Mountain View 11 — At Mountain View, the Eagles scored 12 runs in the top of the sixth to down the Saints.
D.J. Johnson had three hits and three RBIs for Lake Mead. Zach Mullins and Cameron Gregg each had two hits and scored four runs for the Eagles.
Tanner Peterson was 2-for-2 for Mountain View.
Indian Springs 16, Mountain View — At Mountain View, the Thunderbirds scored 12 runs in the third en route to the win.
Nick Vandever was 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and two RBIs for Indian Springs.
Mountain View’s Dylan Martin was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs.
