ROUNDUP: Late homers lead Durango to baseball win over Spring Valley

Mike Sukeyasu and Josh Hull hit back-to-back home runs with no outs in the bottom of the seventh inning Thursday to lead Durango’s baseball team to a 3-2 home win over Spring Valley.
Sukeyasu, who finished 2-for-3, led off the bottom of the seventh with a homer to left field to tie the game at 2-2.
Hull followed with a walk-off blast to left center.
Danny Reynolds tossed a six-hitter and struck out seven to get the win.
Ryan Hendershot was 2-for-3 with a double for the Grizzlies.
Clark 5, Desert Oasis 4 — At Clark, Tom Hoag’s two-run home to right field with two outs in the bottom of the seventh gave the Chargers a win over the Diamondbacks.
Clark (3-13) rallied to score four runs in the seventh to win its third straight game.
Trailing 4-1, Mike Quiroz opened the seventh with a single, and Jordan Ivey walked.
After a sacrifice bunt by Marcos Gomez, Quiroz scored on Manny Estrada’s groundout.
Alex Delgado singled home Ivey to bring the Chargers within a run, and Hoag hit a 1-and-2 pitch over the fence in right to give Clark the win.
Quiroz and Hoag each went 2-for-3 for Clark.
Bryan Morrison went 2-for-2 for Desert Oasis.
Valley 8, Desert Pines 3 — At Valley, Hansel Escamilla went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs as the Vikings beat the Jaguars.
Escamilla also picked up the win, allowing two earned runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six.
Eric Herring was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for Valley.
Demario Miller went 2-for-3 for Desert Pines.
Las Vegas 10, Chaparral 2 — At Chaparral, Bryce Harper was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, three runs and two RBIs to help the Wildcats beat the Cowboys.
Brig Jensen was 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and five RBIs for Las Vegas, which scored five runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-2 lead.
Ricky Perez was 2-for-4 for Chaparral.
Green Valley 14, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Bobby Shiroky was 3-for-4 with a triple, a double and five RBIs to lead the Gators to a five-inning win.
Brett Harrison was 3-for-3, including a three-run homer in the bottom of the first, and John Carra added a grand slam in Green Valley’s eight-run fourth.
Nolan Kohorst threw a one-hitter, striking out eight and walking one, to get the win.
Eldorado 21, Canyon Springs 8 — At Western, Jared Hoven was 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, four runs and one RBI to help the Sundevils beat the Pioneers.
Eldorado’s Alan Guerrero had a home run and three RBIs, and Daniel LeCavelier finished 2-for-4 for the Sundevils, who scored six runs in the top of the seventh.
Bishop Gorman 27, Western 0 — At Western, Joey Gallo was 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBIs and four runs in the Gaels’ win over the Warriors.
Gorman’s Shane Vukasin was 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI. Fifteen Gorman players had at least one hit.
Sierra Vista 16, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Sierra Vista, the Lions had 10 extra-base hits in a five-inning rout over the Trojans.
Brooks Klein homered twice and finished 2-for-3 with five RBIs and three runs. Tommy Barnes went 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs for Sierra Vista.
Cimarron-Memorial 11, Bonanza 3 — At Cimarron-Memorial, the Spartans scored six runs in the second and easily defeated the Bengals.
Brad Oswald was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs, and Dyllon Nuernberg was 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for Cimarron.
Kyle Ross went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Bonanza.
Beatty 11-12, Big Pine (Calif.) 8 — At Big Pine, Calif., the Hornets rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh of the second game to earn the sweep.
Jacob Sumpter was 2-for-3 with four RBIs in the second game to lead Beatty. Anthony Regalado, Isaias Flores and Brandon Villanueva each added two hits for the Hornets.
In the first game, Beatty took a 10-0 lead and held on for the win.
Kyle Marchand was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs to lead the offense in Game 1. Jose Moreno added two hits and two RBIs for Beatty.
