ROUNDUP: Palo Verde tops Arbor View in baseball

Alex Bonczyk fired a three-hitter on Friday to lead Palo Verde’s baseball team to a 7-1 road win over Arbor View.
Bonczyk struck out 14 and shut down the Aggies after giving up a first-inning run.
Brandon Laubhan went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for the Panthers, and teammate Christian Centrella went 2-for-4.
Foothill 11, Coronado 1 — At Coronado, Jake Ferdinand tossed a five-inning two-hitter to lead the Falcons past the Cougars.
Ferdinand also went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three RBIs.
Kyle Moyes went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Foothill, and teammate Michael Gibellina was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
R.J. Cash had a solo home run in the second inning for Coronado.
Silverado 11, Tech 0 — At Silverado, Morgan Stotts tossed a no-hitter to lift the Skyhawks over the Roadrunners in five innings.
Stotts, who struck out 10, also led Silverado’s offense by going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.
Drew Robinson had two doubles for the Skyhawks, who put the game away with six runs in the fourth inning. Teammate Braden
Keathley blasted a two-run homer in the first.
Liberty 18, Del Sol 11 — At Del Sol, Dylan Rogers went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs to help the Patriots defeat the Dragons.
Robert Kinan was 3-for-6 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs for Liberty, which collected 20 hits. Teammate Travis Fryman went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs.
Mike Hampton went 3-for-4 with a double to lead Del Sol. David Day homered for the Dragons.
Bishop Gorman 9, Bonanza 4 — At Bonanza, Erik Van Meetren was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run to help the Gaels beat the Bengals.
Jerry Mitchell went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run, and teammate Neil Lawhorn had two hits for Gorman, which led 7-0 after three innings.
Cimarron-Memorial 23, Cheyenne 8 — At Cheyenne, Dyllon Nuernberg was 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and five RBIs, and James Carraway went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBIs to lead the Spartans.
Tayor Doyle added three hits, Kris Kaplan was 2-for-2 with a triple, a double and four RBIs, and Kaz Smith added a homer for Cimarron.
Cheyenne’s Jacob Hoff had a home run, and Brandon Carroll doubled twice for the Desert Shields.
Centennial 13, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Blane Bevilacqua went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to help the Bulldogs beat the Mustangs in five innings.
Michael Wagner earned the victory, striking out four and holding Shadow Ridge to four hits. Teammate Chapman Schmidt went 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Legacy 12, Mojave 2 — At Legacy, the game was called after the top of the third inning when an injury left the Rattlers with only eight players.
Jayson Henderson was 2-for-2 with two runs, and Chase Skinner was 1-for-1 with three runs for the Longhorns.
Rancho 14, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Zak Qualls went 4-for-5 with three doubles and three runs to help the Rams cruise past the Diamondbacks.
Manny Llamas went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Rancho, which finished with 17 hits. Teammate Gabe Chavira went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs.
Dylan Krasn went 2-for-4 for Desert Oasis, which turned a triple play in the first inning.
Virgin Valley 8-2, Faith Lutheran 0-1 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs allowed seven hits in sweeping the doubleheader.
Travis Leavitt threw a three-hitter in the first game and added a double, two RBIs and two runs.
Johnny Gleave went 2-for-3 with two runs, and Zach Horlacher was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Virgin Valley.
In the second game, Jason Wittwer’s RBI double in the fifth inning gave the Bulldogs the lead, and they held on for the win.
Terran Leavitt was 3-for-3 with one RBI, and Gleave went 2-for-3 with a run for Virgin Valley.
Horlacher pitched a four-hitter to get the win.
Henderson International 13, Trinity 0 — At Trinity, Jon Dapper tossed a two-hitter and struck out 12 of the 18 Thunder batters as the Wolverines routed the Thunder in five innings.
Keenan Gladd-Brown went 4-for-4 with a triple and a double for Henderson International.
Lake Mead 29-12, Sandy Valley 0-0 — At Sandy Valley, the Eagles outhit the Sidewinders 43-2 on the way to a doubleheader sweep.
In the first game, Lake Mead’s D.J. Johnson pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts. He would have had a perfect game if not for two walks. Lake Mead scored 18 runs in the first inning.
In the second game, Lake Mead’s Josh Bratton hurled a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts. He and Johnson homered.
Moapa Valley 6-6, Boulder City 2-5 — At Boulder City, the Pirates swept a doubleheader from the host Eagles.
Moapa Valley’s Kevin Cardinal led off the first game with a home run.
Anthony Conti was 2-for-3 for the Pirates, who took a 6-0 lead into the fourth inning.
In the second game, Moapa Valley rallied from a 5-1 deficit entering the fourth.
Ryan Bowen was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Boulder City.
