ROUNDUP: Rosales-Rodarte helps Grizzlies down Mountain Lions

Jose Rosales-Rodarte went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs to lead Spring Valley’s baseball team to a 10-3 victory at Sierra Vista on Monday.

Michael Macove was 3-for-5 with two runs, and Robby Brewster went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Grizzlies, who clinched a home playoff game with the win.

Dylan Drachler allowed only one earned run on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings to earn the win. He struck out 11 and walked none.

Daniel Gonzales went 2-for-3, Connor Klein doubled and drove in two runs, and William Silcox had a solo homer for the Mountain Lions.

Durango 8, Desert Oasis 5 — At Durango, Scott Martinez went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs to help the Trailblazers top the Diamondbacks.

Johnny Wright was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Durango, which scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth to break a 5-5 tie.

Jacob Dismont and Brett Neighbors added solo home runs for Durango.

Coronado 14, Foothill 4 — At Foothill, Cody Howard went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs as the Cougars defeated the Falcons in five innings.

Chandler Blanchard was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs for Coronado, which scored eight runs in the fifth inning.

Tyler Van Stone was 1-for-2 with an RBI to lead Foothill.

Rancho 7, Eldorado 6 — At Rancho, the Rams’ Jose Verdugo struck out the final two batters with runners on second and third in the top of the seventh inning to secure the win.

Matt Almodover was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Eric Allen went 2-for-2 for Rancho.

Lucio Arreola doubled and finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Eldorado.

Las Vegas 6, Valley 2 — At Valley, Dillon Dove pitched a three-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead the Wildcats past the Vikings.

Dove also homered and finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Daniel Ouzts went 2-for-4 for Las Vegas.

Green Valley 17, Basic 6 — At Basic, Alec Hutt went 3-for-5 with a double, two home runs and four RBIs and picked up the win in relief as the Gators exploded for 11 runs in the final two innings to put away the Wolves.

Evan Van Hoosier went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs for Green Valley, which had 11 extra-base hits that included five home runs.

Basic’s Isaac Perez hit a grand slam in the fifth inning that tied the game, 6-6.

Liberty 12, Del Sol 5 — At Liberty, Chris Bradford went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, and the Patriots used a 10-run third inning to down the Dragons.

Josh McCollum was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs, and Michael Vargas went 1-for-2 with a homer and three RBIs for Liberty.

Angel Wallace belted a three-run home run for Del Sol.

Sunrise Mountain 14, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Auston Ganigan tossed a three-hitter and struck out five as the Miners routed the Pioneers in five innings.

Ricardo Corral went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four runs, and Daniel Guardado was 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI for Sunrise Mountain.

Ernie Senda went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Mike Estrada was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs for the Miners.

Bonanza 16, Clark 1 — At Clark, Sean DeSoto went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs as the Bengals routed the Chargers in five innings.

Austin Taft was 3-for-4 for Bonanza with three RBIs, and teammate Jack Orozco went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Desert Pines 17, Chaparral 7 — At Chaparral, Adam LeClere went 4-for-5 with two triples, a double, four runs and three RBIs to lead the Jaguars by the Cowboys in six innings.

Iquan Corsey was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, three runs and three RBIs, and Clayton Tate went 2-for-3 with three runs for Desert Pines.

Silverado 16, Tech 1 — At Tech, Cameron Rosser went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two runs and two RBIs as the Skyhawks blitzed the Roadrunners in five innings.

Mark Janosik was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and Dillon Johnson added a solo homer for Silverado.

Five Skyhawks’ pitchers combined on a four-hitter.

Western 38, Virgin Valley 9 — At Western, Danny Corillo went 4-for-5 with a double and eight RBIs as the Warriors routed the Bulldogs in five innings.

Ryan Garbowski was 4-for-5 with six RBIs for Western, which scored 17 runs in the fourth inning.

Humberto Urias was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Virgin Valley.

Mountain View 5, Spring Mountain 3 — At Mountain Ridge Park, Korey Wood had two hits and an RBI to help the Saints edge the Eagles.

Spring Mountain’s Joseph Skeirik pitched a four-hitter with 16 strikeouts.

Michael Sheahan had one RBI and two stolen bases for the Eagles.

Bishop Gorman 7, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, the Gaels earned the forfeit victory as the Trojans didn’t have enough healthy and eligible players to compete.
