ROUNDUP: Taft’s walk-off homer pushes Bonanza past Grizziles

Alec Taft belted a two-run homer with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give Bonanza’s baseball team a 5-4 victory over visiting Spring Valley on Thursday.
Taft’s homer came on a 3-2 fastball and scored Sean DeSoto, who had led off the inning with a double.
Brett Doyle threw three scoreless innings, giving up two hits, to earn the win in relief for the Bengals.
Zane Drachler and Dylan Drachler each supplied two hits to lead the Grizzlies.
Arbor View 7, Silverado 1 — At Arbor View, Evan McMahan threw five scoreless innings, striking out eight, and went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI to lead the Aggies by the Skyhawks.
Adam Koutz was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs, and P.J. Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Aggies.
Cimarron-Memorial 13, Foothill 5 — At Foothill, Jayson Hicks went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs to help the Spartans beat the Wolves.
Logan Bottrell was 2-for-4 with a double, three runs and two RBIs, and Nick Borowski went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs for Cimarron.
Niko Decolati and Josh Nuenrberg each added two hits, two runs and an RBI, and Nick Visone was 3-for-5 for the Spartans.
Anthony Lopez went 2-for-3 with two doubles for Cimarron.
Desert Oasis 14, Del Sol 6 — At Del Sol, Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with five RBIs, including a three-run triple in the seventh to push the Diamondbacks past the Dragons.
Stott’s triple was part of a nine-run seventh that put Desert Oasis ahead 14-4.
Cody Schmidt had a double, a triple and three RBIs for the Diamondbacks.
Legacy 12, Western 4 — At Legacy, Quentin McCray finished 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and three RBIs to power the Longhorns over the Warriors.
Joey Ingarra was 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs and three RBIs for Legacy.
Javier Ruiz went 3-for-4 with two runs to lead the way for Western.
Eldorado 10, Canyon Springs 0 — At Eldorado, Brandon Gallegos tossed a five-inning two-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts as the Sundevils routed the Pioneers.
Josh Brown was 2-for-2 and scored two runs for Eldorado.
Tech 19, Virgin Valley 8 — At Virgin Valley, Elias Peinado went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs, and four RBIs, as the Roadrunners outslugged the Bulldogs.
Abel Martinez was 2-for-3 with a double, three runs, and three RBIs for Tech, which got three hits, two runs, and two RBIs from Bryan Casas.
Tanner Kilmer doubled twice to lead Virgin Valley.
