1A BOYS: Littlefield’s nine 3-pointers add up to blowout by Lake Mead

Lake Mead’s Landon Littlefield set a school record by making nine 3-pointers, and the top-seeded Eagles rolled to a 70-21 home victory over Round Mountain in the Class 1A Southern Region boys basketball quarterfinals Tuesday.
Littlefield hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter, finished 9-for-11 and scored 27 points. Alex Mayorga added 10 points and 12 rebounds for Lake Mead.
Clint Wilson and Cody Burgraff had five points each for the Knights.
Henderson International 60, Tonopah 42 — At Henderson International, Robert Sampson contributed 16 points and 18 rebounds to spark the Wolverines, who took a 24-10 first-quarter lead and motored past the Muckers.
Danny Moerman added 14 points and six rebounds for No. 2 seed Henderson International, which led 39-16 at halftime.
Denver Otteson led Tonopah with 14 points.
Pahranagat Valley 73, Trinity 67 — At Alamo, Cody Hoiser scored 32 points and Brady Whipple supplied 23 as the third-seeded Panthers erased a 28-20 halftime deficit to beat the Thunder.
Tommy Williams added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Pahranagat Valley.
Budweiser Hawkins had 32 points to lead Trinity. Gage Neuwohner added 13 points and Chris Bautista 12.
Beatty 44, Spring Mountain 43 — At Beatty, the visiting Eagles missed two free throws with 0.4 seconds to play, and the fourth-seeded Hornets escaped.
Jacob Sumpter scored 13 points, Anthony Regalado 12 and Ramiro Hernandez 11 for Beatty.
Davonte Sandifer had 16 points and Calvin Small 12 for Spring Mountain.
