Top players: G Steven Adeyemi (Sr.), G Anthony Proby (Sr.), C Matthew Glen (Jr.)

Outlook: Adeyemi (15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals per game) and Proby (5.1 ppg, 2.4 assists per game, 1.9 spg) return to lead an otherwise-inexperienced varsity group.

“After making the basketball playoffs for the first time in school history last year, the coaching staff feels that the program is headed in the right direction,” Teran said. “Graduation and transiency have left the shelves a bit bare for this season.

“Experience at the guard position will be stronger than last year. This young team will have to deal with a huge learning curve but with the development of 6-foot-6-inch junior Matt Glen and the continued development of Steven Adeyemi and Anthony Proby, this team should find its chemistry in time for conference play.”
