2017-18 record: 7-14 (3-6 1A Southern/tied seventh, seeded sixth)

Returning lettermen (starters): Nine (four)

Top players: F Ramiro Solano (Sr.), G Rian Cripe (Jr.), G Justin Frondarina (So.)

Outlook: A Class 1A Southern League semifinalist last year, Sandy Valley returns four starters.

“With a majority of our team coming back from last year, we look to continue where we left off,” Kahre said. “We are working hard to get back into the playoffs and make some noise.”
