Returning lettermen (starters): Three (two)

Outlook: Nelson returns after coaching the Mustangs from the 2009-10 season through the 2013-14 season.

He inherits a team that returns just two starters after struggling to compete in the rugged Northwest League.

“We hope to play hard and compete for a playoff spot,” Nelson said. “We want to build a program that is competitive and honorable.”
