BOYS BASKETBALL: Basic downs Boulder City on De’Shawn Eagles buzzer beater

De’Shawn Eagles hit a buzzer-beating putback to lift the Basic boys basketball team to a 42-41 home win over Boulder City on Monday.

B.J. Wilson led the Wolves with 16 points. Eagles finished with five points.

Carson Balistere led Boulder City with 11 points.

Cimarron-Memorial 77, Palo Verde 59 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Demarco Alexander led the Spartans with 27 points as they defeated the Panthers.

Kamakana Winquist scored 14 points, and Keiron Hatchett and Ja’Don Brown each had 10 points for the Spartans, who scored 37 points in the third quarter.

Tieman Allen led the Panthers with 14 points.

Legacy 53, Shadow Ridge 47 — At Legacy, Quentin Brewster had 14 points, and D’Eric Marlowe scored 12 to lead the Longhorns to victory over the Mustangs.

Shadow Ridge’s James Fuller scored 14 points, and teammate Obi Okafor scored 11 points.

Centennial 69, Faith Lutheran 50 — At Faith Lutheran, Troy Brown led all scorers with 19 points as the Bulldogs defeated the Crusaders.

Centennial’s Isaiah Banks added 15 points, and teammate Ishon Hardin scored 10.

Nic Maccioni led Faith Lutheran with 18 points. Jaylen Fox added 13 points, and teammate Elijah Kothe scored 11 for the Crusaders.

Las Vegas 72, Silverado 58 — At Las Vegas, Zach Matlock scored 19 points to lead the Wildcats past the Skyhawks.

Deondre Northey scored 17 points, and Marquise Raybon added 13 points for the Wildcats, who outscored the Skyhawks 35-27 in the first half.

Caden Farley scored 15 points to lead the Skyhawks. Wesley Bryan added 11 points for Silverado.

Bonanza 57, Pahrump Valley 49 — At PahrumValley, Donavan Jackson scored 12 to lead the Bengals over the Trojans.

Brandon Noone had 11 points for Bonanza, which built a 26-19 halftime lead.

Pahrump’s Antonio Fortin led all scorers with 18 points. Parker Hart had 12 points, and Bryce Odegard scored 10 for the Trojans.

Innovations International 60, Liberty Baptist 37 — At Calvary Chapel, Justin Evans led all scorers with 24 points as the Ambassadors defeated the Eagles.

Derec Anderson added, 13 points, and Jordan Allison scored 12 points for the Ambassadors.

Seth Sullivan led Liberty Baptist with 17 points.
