BOYS BASKETBALL: Daniels, Burton guide Valley to easy win

Darrion Daniels and Cameron Burton each scored 18 points Saturday to lead Valley’s boys basketball team to an 84-53 home win over Lincoln (Colo.).
Shea Garland added 17 points for the Vikings, who led 28-6 after one quarter.
Michael Sparks paced the Lancers with 16 points.
Jesuit (Calif.) 51, Bishop Gorman 49 — At Reno, the Marauders stunned the Gaels in the championship game of the Wild West Shootout.
Wilsonville (Ore.) 65, Silverado 27 — At Silverado, Zach Reichle scored 25 points, and the Wildcats used a 42-13 run in the middle two quarters to top the Skyhawks.
Matthew Arnold led Silverado with 14 points.
Needles 27, Ash Fork (Ariz.) 18 — At Williams, Ariz., Trenton Poe-Evans had 14 points and six rebounds as the Mustangs overcame a dreadful shooting performance in the first half to win the title game of the Williams Holiday Tournament.
Cody Tobler, who shared tournament MVP honors with Poe-Evans, added eight points and seven rebounds for Needles, which trailed 11-4 at the half after making just 1 of 29 shots from the field.
Needles’ Victor Ochoa and Derek Wagstaff also were named to the all-tournament team.
Pahranagat Valley 43, Indian Springs 8 — At Alamo, Jordan Cryts led a balanced attack with 10 points as the Panthers routed the Thunderbirds.
Pahranagat Valley led 14-1 after one quarter and limited Indian Springs to two made field goals in the game.
