BOYS BASKETBALL: Dressler, Panthers rally past Diamondbacks at home

Grant Dressler scored a game-high 25 points and Palo Verde’s boys basketball team rallied for a 70-67 home win over Desert Oasis on Friday.
The Panthers were down 67-66 with 22 seconds remaining in the game when Connor Lemmon scored on a fastbreak to give the Panthers a 68-67 lead. After a defensive stop, Ja Morgan scored two of his 15 points to give Palo Verde a three-point lead with 11 seconds remaining in the game.
Desert Oasis had a chance to tie the score, but missed two 3-pointers as time expired.
Lemmon ended the night with 11 points, and Taylor Miller scored 10 for the Panthers.
Aamondae Coleman scored 16 points to lead the Diamondbacks. Taiga Miyano scored 14 points and Rodrick Moore 12 for Desert Oasis.
Del Sol 66, Sunrise Mountain 60 — At Sunrise Mountain, Brian Greer led four double-figure scorers with 24 points to lead the Dragons over the Miners.
Greer converted a 3-point play with 31 seconds remaining to extend the Dragons lead to five and essentially seal the win.
JonRoss Juhas scored 12 points for Del Sol. Rashaun Lawson and Anthony Merchant each scored 11 for the Dragons, who trailed 49-48 after three quarters.
Trellis Quinn had 18 points, Damon Heard added 13 points and William Adams scored 10 for the Miners.
Foothill 55, Durango 51 — At Durango, Torrance Littles scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half as the Falcons edged the Trailblazers.
Kevin Woodland and Colin Curi each scored eight points for Foothill, which trailed 42-38 after three quarters.
Durango’s Michael Diggins had 17 points and seven rebounds. Demetrius Valdez scored 11 for the Trailblazers, who went 2 of 7 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.
Faith Lutheran 70, Sierra Vista 57 — At Sierra Vista, John Molchon had 18 points to lead the Crusaders past the Mountain Lions.
Blake Bell had 15 points, Jaylen Fox and Zach Friel each scored 11 points and Elijah Kothe added 10 points for the Crusaders.
Sierra Vista freshman Maka Ellis scored a game-high 28 points. Jasper Cook added 12 points for the Mountain Lions.
Centennial 78, Green Valley 56 — At Centennial, Darrian Traylor had 30 points and seven rebounds to lead the Bulldogs past the Gators.
Traylor hit five 3-pointers.
Roy Sparks added 15 points for the Bulldogs, and Aaron Turner had 12 points and seven rebounds for Centennial. Isiah Banks had nine rebounds and eight points for the Bulldogs.
Romello Jones scored 13 points to lead Green Valley.
Spring Valley 64, Western 39 — At Spring Valley, Ryan Goecke scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Grizzlies past the Warriors.
Carl Albert added 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Grizzlies.
Kendrick Boyd scored 12 to lead the Warriors.
Chaparral 50, Boulder City 31 — At Chaparral, Marc Silas scored 15 points to lead the Cowboys past the Eagles.
Samuel Porras added 11 points for the Cowboys.
Peyton Koopman scored nine points to lead the Eagles.
Desert Pines 64, Virgin Valley 41 — At Desert Pines, Capri Uzan had 24 points and five rebounds as the Jaguars beat the Bulldogs.
Coby Myles added 12 points, five assists and four steals for the Jaguars. Trevon Abdullah, who scored nine points, and Milton Wallace, who scored seven points, each had seven rebounds for Desert Pines.
Andrew Memmot scored nine points to lead Virgin Valley.
Moapa Valley 55, Tech 39 — At Overton, Andrew Huerta had 16 points to lead the Pirates over the Roadrunners.
Paul Galang scored seven to lead Tech.
Shadow Ridge 76, Silverado 54 — At Shadow Ridge, Kevin Branch scored 16 points as the Mustangs topped the Skyhawks.
Jerell Springer had 15 points, and Kyle Brown scored 10 for Shadow Ridge, which led 50-32 after three quarters.
Jireh Johnson led Silverado with 16 points, and teammate Jordan Waugh scored 12.
Mojave 63, Pahrump Valley 30 — At Mojave, Chrishawn Thomas had 23 points to help the Rattlers to the easy win over the Trojans.
Darryl Adams added 13 points for Mojave.
Parker Hart led Pahrump with 10 points.
Elko 76, Liberty 50 — At Liberty, Nathan Klekas scored 22 points and Tim Meo 20 as the Indians routed the Patriots.
Marshall Dumas added 10 points for Elko, which outscored Liberty 24-12 in the third quarter to pull away.
Tai Senor had 19 points to lead Liberty, and teammate Ed O’Bannon scored 12.
Needles 61, Calvary Chapel 53 — At Needles, Cody Tobler scored four of his 19 points in overtime to help the Mustangs top the Lions.
Victor Ochoa was 3-for-4 from the line in overtime to help seal the win. He finished with 11 points and five assists for Needles. Trenton Poe-Evans added 16 points, four steals and four blocked shots for the Mustangs.
Matthew Harney had 19 points to lead Calvary Chapel, which got 11 points from Killian Diers.
Agassi Prep 64, Lincoln County 40 — At Lincoln County, Deishuan Booker poured in 19 points as the Stars rolled past the Lynx.
Akeemis Williams had 11 points, and Dennis Walker scored 10 for Agassi Prep, which led 22-17 at halftime.
McClain O’Connor had 19 points for Lincoln County.
The Meadows 54, Lake Mead 46 — At Lake Mead, Jake Epstein scored 23 points to lead the Mustangs over the Eagles.
Ethan Fridman added 11 points for The Meadows, which led 46-28 after three quarters.
Trey Vetter and Brendon LeBaron each scored 13 points to lead Lake Mead.
Mountain View 61, Laughlin 27 — At Mountain View, Connor LeBoeuf hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points as the Saints rolled past the Cougars.
Tevin Gray added 10 points for Mountain View, which outscored Laughlin 22-3 in the second quarter to take a 41-12 halftime lead.
Cory Anderson led Laughlin with 11 points.
Word of Life 52, Indian Springs 16 — At Indian Springs, Marcod Domato and Jarrett Fisher each had nine points to lead the Eagles over the Thunderbirds.
Word of Life outscored Indian Springs 25-3 in the second half.
Pahranagat Valley 58, Beaver Dam 50 — At Alamo, Tabor Maxwell had 24 points to lead the Panthers over the Diamondbacks.
Wade Leavitt and Jacob Roemer each added 10 points for Pahranagat Valley.
Beaver Dam’s Carlos Sherrill led all scorers with 25 points.
West Anchorage (Alaska) 56, Coral Academy 47 — At Anchorage, the Falcons opened up a 27-12 halftime lead, but couldn’t hold on in the Alaska Airlines Classic.
Isaiah Spears scored 17 to lead Coral. Isaiah Buck added 14 points and nine rebounds, and Brennan Rosales had 12 points for the Falcons.
