BOYS BASKETBALL: Echols’ 19 points gives Mustangs road victory over Rancho

Preston Echols led four double-figure scorers with 19 points Wednesday as Shadow Ridge’s boys basketball team posted a 73-64 win at Rancho.

Jordin Williams scored 13 points, and Brian Freeman supplied 12 points for the Mustangs, who got 10 points from Brett Meci.

Chrys Jackson scored 16 points, and Montef Hargrove and Kenny Smith each had 11 points for the Rams.

Arbor View 90, Cimarron-Memorial 76 — At Cimarron, Charles Porter poured in 29 points, and Justin Burks added 23 points as the Aggies downed the Spartans.

Terrell Butler added 16 points for Arbor View, which trailed 19-16 after one quarter. The Aggies outscored Cimarron 30-17 in the second quarter to pull ahead.

Cameron McKissic tallied 30 points for Cimarron, which also got 18 points from Amani Gill and 17 points from Tony Harrison.

Canyon Springs 75, Mojave 52 — At Canyon Springs, Gerad Davis scored 22 points, and the Pioneers pulled away in the second half to down the Rattlers.

Jordan Davis had 11 points for Canyon Springs, which led only 29-27 at the half.

Darryl Adams paced Mojave with 12 points.

Desert Oasis 66, Spring Valley 48 — At Desert Oasis, Chris Ruscheinsky scored 15 points to help lead the Diamondbacks past the Grizzlies.

Kodi Leslie had 12 points, and Deric Hammock chipped in 11 points for Desert Oasis, which grabbed a 37-23 halftime lead.

DeVante Moten scored 15 to lead Spring Valley, which also got 14 points from Terrell Lee and 12 points from Travis Walton.

Silverado 61, Bonanza 39 — At Bonanza, Isaiah Glover scored seven of his 17 points during a 19-6 third-quarter run that allowed the Skyhawks to pull away from the Bengals.

Jason Matthew added 12 points, and Joe Baldi scored 11 for Silverado, which led only 26-20 at the half.

Jamal Logan led Bonanza with 14 points.

Del Sol 72, Tech 62 — At Tech, Rashaun Lawson led a balanced attack with 18 points as the Dragons overcame the Roadrunners.

Kyle Collins had 16 points, Joseph Nehme scored 15 and Eduardo Romero supplied 12 points for Del Sol, which led 38-28 at halftime.

Elijah Robertson led all scorers with 23 points for Tech. Crawford Linden added 13 points for the Roadrunners.

Sandy Valley 64, Baker (Calif.) 40 — At Sandy Valley, James Rau scored 29 points as the Sidewinders rolled.

Logan Shelton added 19 points for Sandy Valley, which led 37-16 at the half.
