BOYS BASKETBALL: Friel, Faith Lutheran roll to win

Zach Friel scored all 10 of his points in the first half to help Faith Lutheran's boys basketball team to a 70-22 road win over Pahrump Valley on Tuesday.

Luke Bergen scored a game-high 12 points for the Crusaders, who led 40-8 at the half after outscoring Pahrump 23-2 in the second quarter.

Bryce Neagle added 10 points for Faith Lutheran.

Danny Foss scored seven to pace the Trojans.

The Meadows 78, Quest Academy 40 — At The Meadows, Max Hisatake had 23 points as the Mustangs rolled past the Knights.

Jake Epstein and Joe Epstein each added 12 points for The Meadows, and teammates Asheesh Chopra and Ethan Fridman chipped in 11 points apiece.

Christopher Warren led Quest with 20 points.
