BOYS BASKETBALL: Glenn sends Rattlers past Grizzlies

Jordan Glenn poured in 32 points Wednesday to lead Mojave’s boys basketball team to a 77-60 win at Spring Valley.

Daryl Adams added 23 points, and Malik Abbott scored 12 for the Rattlers, who led only 33-32 at the half.

Ryan Goecke made seven 3-pointers and finished with 22 points, and Carl Albert added 16 points for the Grizzlies.

Chaparral 54, Virgin Valley 49 — At Chaparral, Marc Silas had 19 points and five steals, and Richard Nelson scored 13 points to help the Cowboys fend off the Bulldogs.

Samuel Porras added 11 points, and Maharie Trotter pulled down 13 rebounds for Chaparral.

Cody Jones had nine points, and Keegan Biasi and Zach Barnum scored eight points each for Virgin Valley.

Del Sol 59, Moapa Valley 45 — At Del Sol, Bo Beagle scored 12 points and Brian Greer added 11 points to help the Dragons turn back the Pirates.

Noah Spearman supplied eight points for Del Sol, which led 31-12 at halftime.

Koby Frei had 12 points, and Jay Mortensen scored 10 for Moapa Valley.

Durango 54, Legacy 47 — At Durango, Victor Ross tallied 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead the Trailblazers to victory over the Longhorns.

Chase Ruiz had 12 points, and Michael Diggins added nine points and nine rebounds for Durango.

Jacob Rainey scored 19 points, and Shakir Arrey had 13 points for Legacy.

Faith Lutheran 51, Cheyenne 41 — At Faith Lutheran, Jaylen Fox scored 18 points as the Crusaders defeated the Desert Shields.

Gary Tharaldson added 11 points, and John Molchon supplied seven points and 13 rebounds for Faith Lutheran.

Ulises Santillan scored 14 points, and William Moore had 12 points to pace Cheyenne.

Canyon Springs 79, Liberty 59 — At Canyon Springs, Jordan Davis had 23 points to lead the Pioneers by the Patriots.

D’Quan Crockett added 10 points for Canyon Springs, which led 21-8 after one quarter.

Tai Senor led Liberty with 15 points. Logan Koch added 12 points, and Darryl Swain scored 11 for the Patriots.

Desert Pines 75, Boulder City 52 — At Boulder City, Trevon Abdullah scored 14 points to lead the Jaguars by the Eagles.

Jordan Simon added 13 points for Desert Pines, which led 39-22 at the half.

Tyler Newby led all scorers with 23 points for Boulder City, which got 11 points from Brooks Roe.

Clark 63, Sierra Vista 36 — At Clark, Carter Olsen tallied 23 points as the Chargers ran past the Mountain Lions.

Ty’Rek Wells added 21 points for Clark, which blew the game open with a 24-6 third-quarter run.

Maka Ellis led Sierra Vista with 13 points.

Sunrise Mountain 53, Tech 36 — At Sunrise Mountain, Damon Heard scored 20 points as the Miners rolled past the Roadrunners.

William Adams added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Sunrise Mountain, which sprinted to a 33-9 halftime lead.

Elijah Wesley scored 13 points to lead Tech.

Western 51, Pahrump Valley 35 — At Pahrump, John Swayzer and Zamond Washington each scored 14 points to help the Warriors defeat the Trojans.

Anthony Dodson added 13 points for Western, which used a 20-2 third-quarter run to take control.

T.J. Milk led Pahrump with 11 points.

Bishop Gorman 88, Shadow Ridge 56 — At Shadow Ridge, Ugo Amadi scored 20 points to help the Gaels clinch the Southwest League title with a win over the Mustangs.

Stephen Zimmerman added 10 points for Gorman, which cruised to a 43-18 halftime lead.

Marshall Mayfield led Shadow Ridge with 16 points.
