BOYS BASKETBALL: Jackson’s free throws lead Rams past Wolves in double OT

Chrys Jackson had 14 points and made two free throws late in the second overtime to seal a 63-60 home win over Basic.

David McKeever scored 15 points, and Lamont Traylor provided eight points and 11 rebounds for the Rams, who got 10 points from Siriman Keita.

Josh Villaros led Basic with 24 points. Matthew Esplin added 14 points, and Robert Sutton scored 12 for the Wolves.

Foothill 74, Green Valley 70 — At Foothill, Torrance Littles scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half to lead the Falcons over the Gators.

Foothill trailed 49-44 after three quarters, but Colin Curi scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to help lead the comeback.

Littles added 12 rebounds and eight blocked shots, and teammate Kevin Woodland scored 12 points.

Xavier Jarvis paced Green Valley with 25 points. Romello Jones added 14 points for the Gators.

Coronado 75, Eldorado 64 — At Coronado, Nick Kornieck scored 20 points to lead the Cougars past the Sundevils.

Travis Boman added 14 points, and Matt Johnson scored 10 for Coronado, which led 56-37 after three quarters.

Carmonte Jones scored 20 points to lead Eldorado.

Carl Crayon scored 14 points, and teammate Joshua Brown had 13 points for the Sundevils.

Centennial 67, Desert Oasis 52 — At Centennial, Troy Brown and Darrian Traylor each scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Diamondbacks.

Garett Scheer added 12 points for the Bulldogs.

Aamondae Coleman scored 14 points to lead the Diamondbacks, and teammate Rodrick Moore added 10 points.

Bonanza 59, Arbor View 41 — At Bonanza, DaVonta Price scored 20 points to lead the Bengals to victory over the Aggies.

Davian Jordan added 14 points for Bonanza, which made 24 of 34 free throws. Jamal Logan scored 11 for the Bengals.

Trent Hunt scored 14 points to lead Arbor View, and Quemaree Harris had 10 points for the Aggies.

Findlay Prep 81, Desert Pines 45 — At Desert Pines, Derryck Thornton, Jr. made 4 of 5 3-point attempts and finished with 24 points, as the Pilots routed the Jaguars.

Allonzo Trier added 21 points for Findlay Prep, which got 11 points apiece from Aleksa Novakovic and P.J. Washington.

Capri Uzan made six 3-pointers and had 21 points to lead Desert Pines.

Spring Mountain 81, Tonopah 31 — At Saville Middle School, Steve Jones scored 23 points as the Golden Eagles routed the Muckers.

Norman Crawford added 11 points for Spring Mountain.

Jimmy Withers led Tonopah with 13 points.
