BOYS BASKETBALL: Jake Buchman leads Adelson School past Lincoln County

Jake Buchman had 14 points Tuesday as Adelson School’s boys basketball team rolled to a 61-32 home win over Lincoln County.

Jacob Elharrar added 13 points for the Lions, who outscored Lincoln County 19-4 in the second quarter to take a 37-13 halftime lead.

Jalen Pitts and Miles Hagan each added nine points for Adelson School.

Kevin Mathews led the Lynx with 12 points, and teammate Noah Smith scored 11.

Needles 59, Laughlin 31 — At Laughlin, Irving Juarez paced a balanced attack with 11 points as the Mustangs beat the Cougars.

Trey Tsosie, Gilman Jenkins and Doogie Harvey each added nine points for Needles. Frankie Garcia and Derek Wagstaff each had eight points for the Mustangs.

Andrew Braaksma led Laughlin with nine points and five blocked shots. Corey Anderson added seven points and nine rebounds for the Cougars.

Agassi Prep 58, Lake Mead 36 — At Lake Mead, the Stars outscored the Eagles 39-10 in the second half to pull away for the victory.

Akeemis Williams and Najeeb Muhammad each had 15 points to lead Agassi Prep. Aiden Olivas added 12 points for the Stars.

Shay Rutledge led Lake Mead with 11 points.

Pahrump Valley 59, Beatty 39 — At Pahrump, Antonio Fortin had 19 points as the Trojans topped the Hornets.

David Sidhu added 10 points for Pahrump, which led 22-9 after one quarter.

Robert Revert paced Beatty with 11 points.

Innovations International 72, Somerset-Sky Pointe 46 — At Somerset Sky-Pointe, Justin Evans had 23 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Ambassadors to the win.

Jordan Allison added 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for Innovations.

Liberty Baptist 55, David O. McKay 41 — At David O. McKay, Seth Sullivan had 19 points to lead the Eagles to the win.

Trevor Campbell added 13 points for Liberty Baptist, which led 24-8 after one quarter.
