BOYS BASKETBALL: Littles, Falcons finish off Wolves

Torrance Littles had 16 points and 12 rebounds as Foothill’s boys basketball team finished a 72-64 overtime win over visiting Basic on Thursday.

Jeron Bodin had 19 points, and Colin Curi added 15 points for the Falcons, who were tied 61-61 with 3:30 left in overtime when the game was suspended Wednesday because of a melee in the stands.

Josh Villaros led the Wolves with 26 points. Christopher Dominguez added 14 points, and Jaimen Williams scored 12 for Basic, which will face Green Valley at 6 p.m. Friday at Valley in a play-in game to determine the final Southeast League playoff berth.

Adelson School 91, Beaver Dam 75 — At Adelson, Rom Izkovich made 12 3-pointers and finished with 47 points to lead the Lions by the Diamondbacks.

Izkovich, who hit six 3-pointers in the first quarter, also had eight assists and six steals.

Ben Elharrar had 15 points, and Brandon Pappas added 10 rebounds for Adelson, which finished the game on a 19-3 run and hit 19 3-pointers in the game.

Eddy Castro and Carlos Sherrill each had 27 points for Beaver Dam, which got 10 points from Nick Miromontes.

Palo Verde 75, Durango 71 — At Durango, Ja Morgan scored 24 points, and Grant Dressler had 17 points to help the Panthers down the Trailblazers.

Lemmon added 11 points for Palo Verde, which overcame a 35-33 halftime deficit.

Apollo Corley supplied 20 points and eight rebounds for Durango. Michael Diggins added 19 points and six rebounds for the Trailblazers, who got 14 points from Victor Ross.

Desert Pines 62, Chaparral 42 — At Chaparral, Trevon Abdullah and Coby Myles each had 22 points to lead the Jaguars by the Cowboys.

Jalen Graves added 10 points for Desert Pines, which led 38-19 at the half.

Maharie Trotter led Chaparral with 12 points.

Del Sol 72, Tech 37 — At Del Sol, Noah Spearman scored 15 points as the Dragons routed the Roadrunners.

Brian Greer had 14 points for Del Sol, which had 11 players score.

Crawford Linden scored 15 points to lead Tech.

Sunrise Mountain 63, Moapa Valley 49 — At Sunrise Mountain, Damon Heard led four double-figure scorers with 19 points as the Miners beat the Pirates.

William Adams had 12 points for Sunrise Mountain, and Jamilo Whitten and Trellis Quinn each scored 10 for the Miners.

Koby Frei and Jay Mortensen each scored 14 points for Moapa Valley.

Virgin Valley 53, Boulder City 35 — At Mesquite, Cody Burnside had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lift the Bulldogs over the Eagles.

Marcus Saunders added 10 points for Virgin Valley, which was 20-for-25 from the free-throw line.

Tyler Newby led Boulder City with 18 points.

Spring Valley 74, Pahrump Valley 38 — At Spring Valley, Ryan Goecke and Carl Albert each scored 14 points as the Grizzlies routed the Trojans.

Cobie Whitley and Ben Sison each scored 10 points for Spring Valley, which used a 44-20 run in the middle quarters to take control.

Uriel Ramberg-Wiley scored 11 points to lead Pahrump.

Bishop Gorman 105, Legacy 67 — At Legacy, Chase Jeter scored 20 points as the Gaels topped the Longhorns.

Zach Collins added 17 points, and Stephen Zimmerman and Charles O’Bannon each scored 12 for Gorman. Ugo Amadi added 11 points, and Chase Noma’aea scored 10 for the Gaels.

Jacob Rainey scored 19 points for Legacy, and teammate Shakir Arrey added 14 points.

Mojave 84, Western 41 — At Mojave, Jordan Glenn scored a school-record 39 points and had five rebounds as the Rattlers routed the Warriors.

Glenn broke the previous mark of 38, set by Anthony Marshall.

Malik Abbot added 17 points and 10 assists, and Melvin Irvey scored 11 points for Mojave.

Anthony Dodson scored 12 points, and Wyatt Rozea had 10 points for Western.

Calvary Chapel 48, Needles 28 — At Calvary Chapel, Matthew Harney had 15 points, 22 rebounds and five blocks as the Lions secured a spot in the Division III Southern League playoffs by downing the Mustangs.

Killian Diers added 12 points, and Cameron Varela scored 10 for Calvary Chapel, which used a 26-9 run in the middle quarters.

Derek Wagstaff led Needles with eight points.

Spring Mountain 64, Word of Life 53 — At Durango Hills YMCA, Steve Jones scored 22 points as the Golden Eagles ompleted a perfect Division IV Southern League slate with a win over the Eagles.

Maurice Stitt added 10 points for Spring Mountain.

Elijah Hoye led Word of Life with 24 points.
