BOYS BASKETBALL: Patriots earn home win over Cowboys

Tai Senor scored 18 points, and Kyle Thaxton added 16 points, four rebounds and three assists Monday as Liberty’s boys basketball team earned a 65-54 win over visiting Chaparral.

Elijah Graves chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds, and Jayven Hines-Stockton finished with eight points and five assists for the Patriots, who jumped out to a 20-10 lead after the first quarter.

Tyree McNeal led the Cowboys with 18 points, and teammate Marc Silas had 11 points.

Cimarron-Memorial 77, Eldorado 65 — At Cimarron, Tony Harrison racked up 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Spartans by the Sundevils.

Terrell Walker had 14 points, and Austin Garrison scored 12 for Cimarron, which got 10 points from Justin Lewis.

Jayveon Brown paced Eldorado with 23 points, and teammate D’Quan Crockett added 14 points.

Mojave 87, Tech 58 — At Tech, Darryl Adams led five players in double figures with 22 points, and the Rattlers rolled past the Roadrunners.

Melvin Irvey finished with 15 points and Malik Abbott had 14 for Mojave, which got 13 points each from Lorenzo Guerrero and Kemario Williams.

Mojave led 49-26 at halftime.

Crawford Linden paced Tech with 15 points.

Shadow Ridge 60, Western 28 — At Shadow Ridge, Jordin Williams had 15 points, and Preston Echols added 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Mustangs ran by the Warriors.

Serph Decker added 10 points for Shadow Ridge, which led 39-13 at the half.

Deaven Klepek had nine points for Western.
