BOYS BASKETBALL: Valley rallies to knock off Bonanza

Valley’s Tommy Anderson had 20 points Friday as the Vikings rallied for a 66-58 boys basketball victory over host Bonanza.

John King and Juan De Dios-Magana each scored 19 points for Valley, which outscored Bonanza 34-16 in the fourth quarter.

Brandon Noone scored 23 points to lead the Bengals, and teammate Steven Reese added 14 points.

Desert Oasis 59, Rancho 51 — At Rancho, Jacob Heese led all scorers with 30 points as the Diamondbacks defeated the Rams.

Justin Holiday led Rancho with 21 points. Dayshawn Robinson added 12 points, and Chrys Jackson scored 10 for the Rams.

Canyon Springs 75, Palo Verde 70 — At Palo Verde, Christopher Hawkins scored 25 points to lead the Pioneers over the Panthers.

Joseph Haulcy and Elbert Bibbs each scored 12 for the Pioneers, and teammate Jovon Coleman had 11 points.

Mitchell Olsen led Palo Verde with 14 points. Cole Hendershot scored 12 for the Panthers, and Dylan Yoro added 10 points.

Liberty 81, Spring Valley 47 — At Liberty, 13 Patriots scored in a rout of the Grizzlies.

Cameron Burist led Liberty with 13 points. Julian Strawther had 11 points for the Patriots, and teammates Jordan Wafer and Braden Cain each scored 10.

Spring Valley’s Ryan Frazier led all scorers with 22 points, and K.C. Moore had 10 points for the Grizzlies.

Boulder City 62, Pahrump Valley 46 — At Pahrump, Justus Green led the Eagles with 16 points as they defeated the Trojans.

Karson Bailey added 15 points, Carson Balistere had 14 points, and Billy Ferrence scored 10 points for Boulder City.

David Sidhu led Pahrump with 19 points, and teammate Antonio Fortin scored 12.

Calvary Chapel 61, Lincoln County 56 — At Panaca, Elijah Martinez led all scorers with 20 points as the Lions defeated the Lynx.

Calvary Chapel’s Marior Munda scored 13 points, and teammate Alec Neider had 11 points.

Lincoln County’s Elijah Harr and Brady Lawrence each scored 11 points, and teammate Landen Smith scored 10.

Agassi Prep 63, Needles 45 — At Needles, California, Allen Merritt scored 19 points as the Stars defeated the Mustangs.

Najeeb Muhammad added 16 points for Agassi Prep, which led 26-10 after one quarter.

Trey Tsosie paced Needles with 18 points, and teammate Doogie Harvey scored 15.

Pahranagat Valley 54, Sandy Valley 22 — At Sandy Valley, Culen Highbe and Tabor Maxwell each had 12 points as the Panthers routed the Sidewinders.

Cody Williams added 11 points for Pahranagat Valley, which outscored Sandy Valley 16-3 in the second quarter to take a 26-13 halftime lead.

Wyatt Robinson had 17 points for the Sidewinders.

Spring Mountain 51, Round Mountain 45 — At Indian Springs, Kamari Kelly had 14 points as the Golden Eagles defeated the Knights.

Deon Lee also scored 11 points for Spring Mountain.

Round Mountain’s Corbin Jensen led all scorers with 21 points.

Lake Mead 53, Laughlin 27 — At Lake Mead, Sean Fuller scored 11 points to lead the Eagles over the Cougars.

Jermarion Hickman led Laughlin with 11 points.

Rancho Solano Prep (Ariz.) 79, The Meadows 39 — At The Meadows, Kiimani Holt had 19 points as Rancho Solano beat The Meadows.

Peyton Sachs scored 15 points for The Meadows. Ryan Chen added eight points for The Meadows, which trailed 45-20 at halftime.
