BOYS BASKETBALL: Visiting Del Sol edges Boulder City 64-61

Devonte Anton Villarta scored 14 points Thursday to lead Del Sol’s boys basketball team to a 64-61 road win over Boulder City.

Taariq Flowers and Barry Williams each added nine points for the Dragons.

Karson Bailey scored 18 points to lead the Eagles. Tanner Montgomery added 12 points for Boulder City.

Clark 72, Spring Valley 61 — At Clark, Antwon Jackson had 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Chargers over the Grizzlies.

Ian Alexander added 11 points, and Jalen Hill, James Bridges and Trey Woodbury each scored 10 for Clark.

Keelan Wickersham had 21 points to pace Spring Valley, which hit 11 3-pointers.

Desert Oasis 75, Bonanza 55 — At Desert Oasis, Nate Van hit six 3-pointers and scored 19 points as the Diamondbacks defeated the Bengals.

Tyler McClendon had 14 points, and teammate Maitland Williams added 13 points for Desert Oasis, which made 13 3-pointers.

Chase Hafen had 13 points to lead Bonanza. Steven Reese added 12 points for the Bengals.

Chaparral 69, Tech 40 — At Tech, Samuel Porras scored 20 points to lead the Cowboys to victory over the Roadrunners.

John Brooks had 17 points for Chaparral, which got 10 points from Jonathan Tendale.

Tech’s Isaiah Villareal scored nine points.

Canyon Springs 63, Valley 27 — At Valley, the Pioneers had four players score in double digits to help lift them over the Vikings.

De’Shawn Keperling, Kevin Legardy and Christopher Hawkins each had 13 points, and Elbert Bibbs added 10 points for the Pioneers.

Bryce Jones led the Vikings with eight points.

Shadow Ridge 71, Eldorado 62 — At Shadow Ridge, James Fuller scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs past the Sundevils.

Bricin Ford scored 13 points, and Obi Okafor added 10 points for Shadow Ridge, which outscored Eldorado 46-27 in the second half.

Jordan Carter scored 16 points to lead the Sundevils. Dexter Davis scored 14 points, and Jonathan Thomas added 11 for Eldorado.

Adelson School 45, Lake Mead 34 — At Lake Mead, the Lions used a 17-9 third quarter to pull away from the Eagles.

Miles Hagan scored 16 points for Adelson School, and Jake Buchman added 12 for the Lions.

Joshua Thorell led the Eagles in scoring with 11 points.
