Centennial’s Brown, Findlay Prep’s Jackson to play in all-star game

Centennial guard Troy Brown and Findlay Prep small forward Justin Jackson were selected to the Under Armour Elite 24 basketball game to be held in Brooklyn on Saturday.

Brown, a consensus five-star recruit in the class of 2017, and Jackson, a 2016 UNLV commit, will play together on Team EZ Pass.

They will be the only representatives from Southern Nevada in this year's event, which features some of the nation's best high school talent.

Brown, the sixth-ranked player in his class according to ESPN.com, averaged 16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game last season en route to making the Review-Journal's all-state first team.

Jackson, the No. 29 recruit in the senior class, averaged 14.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game last season for Findlay Prep.

The game will be televised on ESPNU at 4 p.m.
