Clark’s Antwon Jackson commits to Arkansas State

Clark senior forward-center Antwon Jackson is committed to Arkansas State, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.

His commitment is non-binding and won’t be official until he signs a national letter of intent.
The early basketball signing period begins Nov. 14.
Jackson, at 6-foot-7 and 250 pounds, is one of the city’s best interior players, and operates primarily as a throwback big man with a repertoire of low-post moves and shooting range out to 17 feet.
He averaged 7.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Chargers last season, but is in line for an expanded role after the graduations of Division I guards James Bridges and Greg Foster.
Jackson played club basketball for 702 Select.
