Desert Pines senior guard Capri Uzan made an oral commitment to play basketball at Air Force on Monday, announcing his decision via Twitter.
The 5-foot-10-inch standout joins a long list of recent Southern Nevada players to commit to the Falcons.
“For my last year of high school basketball, I will be representing & verbally committing to Coach Dave Pilipovich & The Falcons of the United States Air Force Academy,” Uzan tweeted.
Uzan was a second-team all-state selection last season after averaging 16.1 points, 5.3 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals.
He also was the Division I-A Southern Region co-Most Valuable Player for the Jaguars, who were the Southern Region champions.
Uzan joins 2016 Air Force commits Aamondae Coleman (Desert Oasis) and Jason Landman (Durango), and 2015 graduates Malik Abbott (Mojave) and Garett Scheer (Centennial).
