Findlay Prep’s Della Valle commits to Ohio State

Findlay Prep senior guard Amedeo Della Valle made an oral commitment to Ohio State on Saturday.

Della Valle picked the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Arizona and Texas A&M. The Italy native made an official visit to Ohio State this week.

“He did his homework and research a lot on what’s returning, their trends,” Findlay Prep coach Michael Peck said. “He was very thorough in the process and felt like this is what he wanted to do. We feel as good about it as he does.”

Della Valle helped the Pilots (32-1) win the ESPNHS National High School Invitational this year.
