2011-12 record: 17-12 (11-3 Southwest)

Returning lettermen (starters): Seven (three)

Top players: G Brannon Cresanto (Sr.), G Elijah Smith (Sr.), F Tyler Morris (Sr.)

Outlook: Cresanto, who will be a four-year starter, averaged 15 points and five assists per game last season in an offense that is notoriously-balanced every year.

Smith (6.0 ppg, 4.0 apg) and Morris (4.0 ppg, 6.0 rebounds per game) return for their third year.

"We are looking to our veterans to lead us this year," Soares said. "Defense will be the key for us this season in order for us to advance deep in the playoffs."
