LAKE MEAD CLASSIC: “Very active” Brandon carries Spring Mountain boys into title game

Spring Mountain boys basketball coach Ed Cheltenham isn’t joking when he calls Roemello Brandon “very active” in the paint.

In fact, “hyperactive” might be a more fitting adjective.

The junior then had 11 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks in a 47-35 victory over Calvary Chapel in a Gold Division semifinal to help the Eagles reach the title game against Calvary (Calif.) at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lake Mead.
