Class 4A
1. Clark (7-0, Last week 1) — In a team full of stars, Jalen Hill is making a name for himself.
2. Bishop Gorman (5-1, LW 2) — The Gaels are in the Platinum bracket of the Tarkanian Classic this week.
3. Foothill (5-0, LW 3) — The Falcons have had no trouble with in-state competition, and are competing in the Tarkanian Classic.
4. Coronado (4-0, LW 4) — The Cougars are competing in the Tarkanian Classic and Punahou Invitational in back-to-back weeks.
5. Canyon Springs (6-0, LW 5) — The top-ranked local team not in the Tarkanian Classic, the Pioneers are off until next week.
6. Faith Lutheran (9-0, LW 6) — The Tarkanian Classic will be the biggest test to the Crusaders’ undefeated start.
7. Arbor View (10-2, LW 8) — The Aggies were unranked to begin the year, and just keep climbing.
8. Desert Oasis (6-3, LW 7) — The Diamondbacks get to play on their own court in the Tarkanian Classic.
9. Liberty (2-4, LW 9) — The Patriots are competing in the Tarkanian Classic this week.
10. Cimarron-Memorial (7-3, LW 10) — The Spartans are idle until the Under Armour Holiday Classic next week.
Class 3A
1. Cheyenne (6-3, LW 1) — The Desert Shields are in a Tarkanian Classic bracket where the only local teams are 4A.
2. Desert Pines (2-2, LW 2) — The Jaguars got into the win column with back-to-back wins against 4A teams last week.
3. Chaparral (5-1, LW 4) — The Cowboys look to stay undefeated against Moapa Valley in Overton on Friday.
4. Sunrise Mountain (7-2, LW 3) — The Miners are off until the Tri-State Holiday Invitational next week.
5. Boulder City (8-3, LW 5) — The Eagles are already two wins shy of last season’s total.
Class 2A
1. Democracy Prep (9-1, LW 1) — The Blue Knights are hard to stop, and are looking to defend last year’s state title.
2. Adelson School (4-2, LW 2) — The Lions are taking part in next week’s Vegas Invitational.
3. The Meadows (6-3, LW 5) — The Mustangs keep inching up the rankings.
4. Needles (8-3, LW 3) — The Mustangs have been hampered by a 2-3 start in league play.
5. Lincoln County (3-5, LW unranked) — The Lynx enter the rankings after a 3-1 start in league play.
Class 1A
1. Pahranagat Valley (8-2, LW 1) — The Panthers remain atop the rankings.
2. Spring Mountain (7-3, LW 2) — The Golden Eagles got league play off on the right foot with a win over Word of Life.
3. Beatty (3-2, LW 3) — The Hornets are off until the new year.
4. Indian Springs (2-3, LW unranked) — The Thunderbirds simultaneously entered the rankings and removed Liberty Baptist from it with their win last Thursday.
5. Word of Life (1-4, LW 5) — The Eagles are looking to turn things around after a tough schedule.
