ROUNDUP: Augmon, Willis power Coronado boys to victory over Bulldogs

Justice Augmon had 32 points, and Jordan Willis scored 31 points Tuesday to help Coronado’s boys basketball team post an 89-78 win at Centennial. to help the Cougars notch a victory over the Bulldogs.

Charlie Teixiera added 12 points for the Cougars, who made 10 3-pointers in the game and outscored the Bulldogs, 48-33 in the second half after trailing by four at halftime.

Marcus Allen scored 35 points to lead Centennial. Malcolm Allen added 19 points, and Marcus Berkley supplied 11 points for the Bulldogs.

Desert Pines 63, Cheyenne 62 —
At Desert Pines, Trevion Turner scored 14 points, and the Jaguars survived when the Desert Shields missed a free throw with four seconds left.

Julian Jacobs and Malik Davis each added 12 points for Desert Pines.

Jas Coulson led Cheyenne with 16 points.

Eldorado 80, Western 71 — At Western, D.J. Billingsley scored 20 points, and went 3-for-4 from the free-throw line in the final 90 seconds to give the Sundevils a victory over the Warriors.

D’Quan Crockett contributed 16 points, and Jayveon Brown scored 10 for Eldorado.

Aldo Arpero had 28 points, and Travis Dunn tallied 19 points for Western, which got 11 points from Darion Murray.

Legacy 92, Arbor View 86 — At Arbor View, Todd Murdock tallied 19 points, and Ramell Plair scored 16 as the Longhorns outlasted the Aggies.

Benjie Harris scored 13, and Khari Sloane had 12 points for Legacy.

Justin Burks had 25 points and nine rebounds, and Terrell Butler had 20 points to pace Arbor View.

Brandon Hill added 13 points and six assists, and Navonte Hill recorded 12 points, nine assists and five rebounds for the Aggies.

Cimarron-Memorial 71, Shadow Ridge 67 — At Shadow Ridge, Joe McKeller scored 22 points as the Spartans withstood a late rally from the Mustangs to hang on for the win.

Cody Newton added 16 points, and Austin Garrison scored 13 for Cimarron, which got 11 points from J.C. Broussard.

Terrell Bowden and Enrique White each had 15 points for Shadow Ridge. Kealyn Butler scored 11, and Jordin Williams had 10 points for the Mustangs.

Foothill 82, Palo Verde 67 — At Foothill, Brannon Cresanto scored 17 points, and Elijah Smith had 15 points to power the Falcons past the Panthers.

Jalen Shepard and Kyle Andres each supplied 11 points for Foothill, which used a 23-13 third quarter to pull away. Smith scored 10 of his 15 points in the third quarter.

Darryl Gaynor posted 25 points, and Eris Winder had 16 points to lead Palo Verde.

Bishop Gorman 62, Faith Lutheran 24 — At Gorman, Stephen Zimmerman had 12 points, 11 rebounds, and eight blocked shots to help the Gaels defeat the Crusaders.

Noah Robotham supplied 16 points and eight assists for Gorman, which got 13 points from Trey Kennedy.

D’Khari Hicks paced Faith Lutheran with seven points.

Tech 55, Spring Valley 49 — At Spring Valley, Josh West scored 14 points to lead the Roadrunners past the Grizzlies.

Bryan Catenza helped Tech with nine points.

Dionte Humphrey and Tan Horton each scored 12 points to lead Spring Valley.

Sierra Vista 55, Bonanza 49 — At Sierra Vista, Nino Flores scored 10 points, and Christian Tirol added nine points as the Mountain Lions edged the Bengals.

Rio Justice Chandler supplied 16 points to lead Bonanza, which got 11 points from Cameron Ladson and 10 points from Travis Noone.

Del Sol 49, Silverado 43 — At Silverado, Tyrone Rouse scored 17 points, and Michael DeLeon notched 12 points as the Dragons earned a win over the Skyhawks.

Kyle Collins and Noah Spearman added eight points each for Del Sol.

Joe Baldi led Silverado with 16 points.

Lake Mead 62, Moapa Valley 55 — At Overton, Justin Yamzon scored 35 points to help the Eagles rally past the Pirates.

Dylan Graham added 11 points, and Wesley Brule scored 10 for Lake Mead, which trailed 33-29 at halftime.

Bunker Wimer led Moapa Valley with 15 points. Jackson Mortensen and Lance Hilton each had 13 points for the Pirates.

Boulder City 78, Lincoln County 38 — At Boulder City, Kaleb Bailey scored 30 points to lead the Eagles to an easy win over the Lynx.

Tyler Newby had nine points and Chris Nilsen added eight for Boulder City, which led 44-31 at halftime and held Lincoln County to seven points in the second half.

Ryan Rippetoe scored 22 points for Lincoln County.

Mountain View 62, Pahranagat Valley 54 — At Mountain View, Trenton Van Kempen scored 11 points, and the Saints drained 11 3-pointers on their way to a win over the Panthers.

T.J. Kissinger added 10 points for Mountain View, which outscored Pahranagat Valley, 28-16 in the middle two quarters.

Tyler Higbee led the Panthers with 19 points, and teammates Austin Poulsen and Jake Carter each scored 10.

Needles 69, Palo Verde Valley (Calif.) 55 — At Needles, Calif., Aidan Shaver scored 17 points to help the Mustangs beat the Yellowjackets.

Devin Truscott added 16 points for Needles, which rallied in the second quarter after falling behind early. Mason Cisneros and Phillip Chavez helped with 12 points apiece for the Mustangs.

Adelson School 55, Sandy Valley 21 — At Sandy Valley, Robert Blackwell tallied 15 points to help the Lions pull away from the Sidewinders.

Mendi Berrebi and Rom Izkovich each added 10 points for Adelson School.

James Rau led Sandy Valley with seven points.
