ROUNDUP: Canyon Springs rallies past Eldorado in boys basketball

Chris Willis had 15 points — including the go-ahead free throws in the final 30 seconds — and 10 rebounds Thursday to lift Canyon Springs’ boys basketball team to a come-from-behind 70-67 home win over Eldorado.
The Pioneers trailed 57-48 entering the fourth quarter but tied the score before Willis put his team ahead for good. Antonio Snow added another free throw to account for the final margin.
Terence Stanley had 18 points and Adrian Snow 12 for the Pioneers.
Eldorado’s Mitrell Clark led all scorers with 35 points. Marcus Moreland added 14 points and Charles White 12 for the Sundevils.
Desert Pines 79, Valley 59 — At Valley, Pierre Jackson scored 21 points for the Jaguars, who bolted to an 18-5 first-quarter lead en route to the win.
Chris Perry added 19 points and Tyler Larson 12 for Desert Pines.
Chris Marshall paced the Vikings with 14 points, and teammate Khristian Kirkwood scored 11.
Las Vegas 75, Chaparral 69 — At Chaparral, Tony Eackles scored 20 of his 32 points in the second half as the Wildcats rallied from a 41-35 halftime deficit to beat the Cowboys.
Travon Langston and George Sanico each had 10 points for Las Vegas.
Robert Porter led Chaparral with 20 points. Jerome Young scored 14 points and Trenton Neal 13 for the Cowboys.
Cheyenne 65, Centennial 59 — At Cheyenne, Demetric Williams scored 21 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, to lead the Desert Shields past the Bulldogs.
J’Quon Wroten added 13 points for Cheyenne. Chris McCall had 11 points and 12 rebounds and Elijah Johnson 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Desert Shields.
Drew Staker scored 22 points to lead Centennial.
Legacy 56, Shadow Ridge 49 — At Legacy, Terrell Evans scored eight of his 12 points in the fourth quarter and had 10 rebounds as the Longhorns rallied from a 39-38 deficit after three quarters to down the Mustangs.
Sam Johnson had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Ira Haywood 11 points for Legacy.
Zach Hafen led Shadow Ridge with 10 points.
Palo Verde 80, Cimarron-Memorial 73 — At Cimarron, Moses Morgan scored 16 points and Davion Pearson 15 for the Panthers, who withstood a fourth-quarter rally by the Spartans.
Kevin Olekaibe had 31 points and 12 rebounds to lead Cimarron, which got within six in the fourth quarter after trailing 62-46 entering the quarter.
Brayden Quackenbush contributed 30 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Spartans, and teammate Dale Puckett added 15 rebounds.
Del Sol 58, Tech 50 — At Del Sol, Devonti Gilmore led four double-figure scorers with 17 points as the Dragons topped the Roadrunners.
Jeff Coon added 14 points and Chris Sanders and Anthony Martinez 10 each for Del Sol.
Brandon Tiffany had a game-high 18 points and Michael Johnson 14 for Tech.
Coronado 53, Liberty 51 — At Coronado, Brett Hoisington had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cougars past the Patriots.
Coronado used a 21-13 second-quarter run to take a 32-25 halftime lead.
Cameron Peters led Liberty with 15 points.
Silverado 70, Basic 32 — At Basic, Wade Collie scored 17 points and Ali Sabra 15 helping the Skyhawks earn a 28-19 halftime lead and roll past the Wolves.
Silverado held Basic to five points in the third quarter to seal the victory.
James Holmes paced the Wolves with 12 points.
Pahranagat Valley 68, Spring Mountain 38 — At Alamo, Taylor Poulsen had 16 points and nine rebounds to help the Panthers down the Eagles.
Brady Whipple and Cody Hoiser each had 12 points for Pahranagat Valley.
Davonte Sandifer led Spring Mountain with 16 points, and teammate Terence Green added 10.
