ROUNDUP: Chaparral boys work overtime to down Las Vegas

Andre Wright scored nine of his 18 points in the extra period to lift Chaparral to an 89-85 overtime victory over visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday.
The Wildcats led 74-71 with time winding down in regulation when Chaparral’s Kevin Morgan was fouled attempting a long 3-pointer with one second left.
Morgan, who had 25 points, hit all three free throws to force overtime.
Morgan added nine rebounds, five assists and three steals. Wright had eight rebounds, and Bre Onta Griffin had 17 points and six rebounds for the Cowboys.
Las Vegas’ Tyree Anderson led all scorers with 27 points. Travon Langston scored 14 for the Wildcats.
Western 60, Bonanza 58 — At Bonanza, Sir Washington scored 20 points, helping the Warriors build a 16-point second-half lead and hold on to beat the Bengals.
Albert Miller and Kentrell Washington each added 17 points for Western, which missed two free throws with seven seconds to play.
Bonanza had a pair of shots to tie the game in the closing seconds, but missed both and time expired as the teams scrambled for possession of the loose ball.
 
Dasean Martin scored 14 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter for Bonanza. Tommy Gentile added 14 points for the Bengals.
Valley 59, Desert Pines 50 — At Valley, the Vikings dominated inside to take down the Jaguars.
Valley had 38 points in the paint and outrebounded Desert Pines, 46-29.
Chris Kessee had 16 points and Angelo Coleman scored 11 to pace the Vikings.
Royce Finley added nine points and 15 rebounds for Valley.
Chancellor Davis led the Jaguars with 17 points. Tyler Larson and Caleb Myles added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Desert Pines.
 
Canyon Springs 92, Eldorado 71 — At Canyon Springs, Adrian Snow had 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Pioneers grabbed a 41-31 halftime lead and pulled away from the Sundevils.
Jeremy Alexander added 16 points and five assists for Canyon Springs. Michael Thompson scored 15, Donald Anderson added 12 and Trey Evans had 11 for the Pioneers.
Curtis Stewart paced the Sundevils with 21 points. DaQuan Thrower added 14 points and Ariel Baggett had 12 for Eldorado.
Desert Oasis 56, Sierra Vista 43 — At Sierra Vista, Cameron Mich’l had 20 points to lead the Diamondbacks past the Mountain Lions.
Cameron Jefferson added 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Anthony Lianzo scored 12 for Desert Oasis.
Dylan Goings led Sierra Vista with 14 points. Viko Noma’aea added 11 points for the Mountain Lions.
Durango 73, Pahrump Valley 64 — At Pahrump, Tre’Von Wells hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points to lead the Trailblazers past the Trojans.
Greg Gentry added 17 points, and Donovan Williams had 12 for Durango.
Pahrump’s Alex Anderson led all scorers with 26 points. Shane Lindemann added 15 points and Daniel Shimakawa had 13 for the Trojans.
Foothill 51, Urspring (Germany) 39 — At Bishop Gorman, Evan Roquemore scored 15 points to lead the Falcons to victory in the Bishop Gorman Holiday Classic.
Brannon Cressanto added 13 points for Foothill.
Rancho 70, Sunrise Mountain 32— At Sunrise Mountain, Kris Hall scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures as the Rams pounded the Miners.
Amir Royal scored 15 points, Antonio Boucher had 14 and Tyler Gaston added 10 for Rancho.
Shmarlio Tolliver had 10 points for Sunrise Mountain, which trailed 40-13 at halftime.
