ROUNDUP: Diggs, Western down Bonanza

Johnnie Diggs had seven points and two assists in the fourth quarter Saturday, helping host Western’s boys basketball team rally to a 68-62 win over Bonanza.

Diggs and Bradley Cairo each had 16 points for the Warriors, who trailed 50-49 after three quarters. De”Andre Nash added 12 points.

Ryan Kelly led the Bengals with 15 points. Arin Matt scored 14 and Dasean Martin 10 for Bonanza.

Silverado 90, Del Sol 70 — At Del Sol, Ali Sabra scored 20 points in the first half, helping the Skyhawks take a 48-25 halftime lead en route to the win.

James Lata led Silverado with 26 points. Sabra added 23, Isaiah Simmons 14 and David Lutomski 13 for the Skyhawks.

Durrell McDonald led the Dragons with 12 points. Chris Sanders and Anthony Martinez each scored 10 for Del Sol.

Foothill 60, Tech 44 — At Foothill, A.J. Shepard scored all eight of his points during a 22-14 third-quarter run, lifting the Falcons past the Roadrunners.

Evan Roquemore led Foothill with 16 points. Tyland Copeland added 10 points for the Falcons, who had 11 players score.

Dominique Dearmore paced Tech with 12 points.

Desert Pines 82, Valley 70 — At Desert Pines, Tyler Larson had 20 points and 15 rebounds to help the Jaguars top Valley.

Cliff Harrell had 22 points for Desert Pines. Pierre Jackson scored 18 and Chris Perry 11.

Johnquez Brooks led Valley with 22 points. Khristian Kirkwood added 15 and Jimmy Videaux 14.

Eisenhower (Ill.) 58, Spring Valley 54 — At Spring Valley, Dustin Lewis forced overtime with a 3-pointer in the final 15 seconds of regulation and finished with 22 points to lift Eisenhower past the Grizzlies.

Anton Stallworth led Spring Valley with 15 points. Jesse Chippoletti added 14 and Corey Clement 10 for the Grizzlies.

Canyon Springs 66, Eisenhower (Ill.) 63 — At Canyon Springs, Adrian Snow scored the go-ahead basket with 20 seconds to play, and Curtis Stuckey and Michael Thompson each hit 1 of 2 free throws in the closing seconds as the Pioneers edged Eisenhower.

Thompson led Canyon Springs with 19 points. Terence Stanley and Antonio Snow each scored 16 points and Adrian Snow 10 for  the Pioneers.

Lewis led Eisenhower with 18 points.

Sierra Vista 70, Boulder City 58 — At Boulder City, Ray Tapusoa had 17 points to help the Mountain Lions down the Eagles.

Quinten Chow added 15 points and Viko Noma’aea 10 for Sierra Vista, which outscored Boulder City 18-9 in the third quarter to pull away.

Agassi Prep 88, Lincoln County 86 — At Panaca, Agassi Prep rallied from a 64-48 fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime and came back again to beat the host Lynx.

Agassi Prep's DeShawn Battle forced the overtime with a 3-pointer that tied the game at 75.

In overtime, Quincy Brown scored the go-ahead basket in the final 30 seconds. After a Lincoln County miss, Battle made 1-of-2 free throws with four seconds to play. A Lincoln County shot from half-court at the buzzer was off target.

Battle led the Stars with 30 points. Jacoby Whitehead scored 18, Brown 15 and James Turner 12.

Dantley Walker led Lincoln County with 33 points. Eric Rippetoe scored 24, and Jason Wheatley and Ivan Ortiz each had 12.

Needles 75, White Pine 56 — At Needles, Calif., Darra Russell had 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to help the Mustangs down the Bobcats.

Stevie Kidd had 24 points for Needles. Michael Hills added 16 points and eight assists and Aaron Burns 11 points for the Mustangs.

Michael Johnson led White Pine with 16 points. Johnny Holloway scored 12 points and Russ Monzonie 10 for the Bobcats.

Spring Mountain 51, Tonopah 33 — At Saville Middle School, Davonte Sandifer scored 10 of his 23 points in the first quarter, helping Spring Mountain bolt to a 22-4 lead on the way to an easy win.

Terence Green added 10 points and Dijon Riley 14 rebounds for the Eagles.

Sergio Perez and Eddie Reynoso each had nine points for the Muckers.

Beatty 47, Trinity 37 — At Beatty, Anthony Regalado led a balanced attack with 13 points for the Hornets, who jumped to a 23-13 halftime lead en route to the win.

Joe Serrano added 12 points and six assists and Anthony Turner 12 rebounds for Beatty.

Avery Harden led the Thunder with 14 points, and teammate Budweiser Hawkins added 10 points.

Round Mountain 58, Sandy Valley 11 — At Lake Mead, the Knights used a 16-0 run in the second quarter to build a 36-5 halftime lead and cruise past the Sidewinders.

Conner Luther led Sandy Valley with six points, and teammate Patrick Hartung added eight rebounds.
