Roundup: Five Bulldogs score at least 10 in Centennial’s win

Five members of Centennial’s boys basketball team scored in double figures Friday, and the Bulldogs cruised a 91-41 road victory over Rancho Mirage (California) in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Hunter Bohls led all scorers with 17 for the Bulldogs, Ishon Hardin had 14 points, Savio Gines-Rivera had 13 points, and Teon Taylor and Jairus Dickson each scored 10.

Centennial led 49-29 at the half, then out-scored the Rattlers 42-12 in the final two quarters.

Zack Kroker and Koby Alvarez each scored 12 to lead Rancho Mirage.

Bishop Gorman 66, Spartanburg Day (S.C.) 58 — At Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jamal Bey had 29 points on 12 of 22 shooting and added 11 rebounds to help the Gaels hold off the Griffins, who were without five-star prospect Zion Williamson.

Will McClendon scored 11 points and started in place of Noah Taitz, who didn’t play Friday.

Kyle Tracy scored 20 points for Spartanburg Day.

Boulder City 80, San Jacinto (Calif.) 62 — At Lake Elsinore, California, Derrick Thomas had 29 points and 12 rebounds as the Eagles defeated the Tigers in the Paloma Valley Winter Shootout.

Carson Balistere had 20 points for the Eagles, and Karson Bailey had seven points, 10 rebounds, six steals, six assists and two blocks.

Boulder City trailed by three going into the fourth quarter, then out-scored San Jacinto 28-13 in the fourth quarter.

Foothill 75, Valencia (Calif.) 58 — At Rancho Mirage, California, Marvin Coleman scored a game-high 21 points as the Falcons downed the Vikings in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Jace Rocquemore scored 18 for the Falcons, who led 35-25 at the half.

Riley Hoefert led the Vikings with 17 points.

Cimarron-Memorial 70, O’Connor (Ariz.) 68 — At Carlsbad, California, George Tribble scored 16 points to help the Spartans top the Eagles in the Governor’s Bracket semifinals of The Holiday Classic.

Brian Washington added 15 points for Cimarron.

T.J. Connaker led O’Connor with 23 points.

Thunder Basin (Wyo.) 75, Liberty 67 — At Gillette, Wyoming, the Bolts used a 12-0 game ending run to stun the Patriots in the semifinals of the Energy Classic.

Liberty, which opened the game on a 17-4 run, held a 67-62 lead with less than two minutes to play, but didn’t score again.

Thunder Basin extended the lead to 71-67 before Liberty was whistled for an intentional foul and two technical fouls with less than a second to go, giving Thunder Basin six free throws. Kade Bradley and Coleman Worlsey each had 20 points to lead the Bolts.

Julian Strawther led the Patriots with 25 points. Cameron Burist added 18 points for Liberty.

Moeller (Ohio) 46, Clark 42 — At Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jeremiah Davenport had 14 points and eight rebounds as the Fighting Crusaders rallied from a 24-19 halftime deficit to defeat the Chargers in a consolation game of the Beach Ball Classic.

Jaxson Hayes added 12 points for Moeller.

Jalen Hill led Clark with 15 points. James Bridges added 11 points for Clark, which shot just 15-for-45 from the field.

Canyon Springs 79, Citrus Hill (Calif.) 51 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Pioneers bested the Hawks in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Palo Verde 62, Issaquah (Wash.) 57 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Panthers took down the Eagles in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Millikan (Calif.) 94, Coronado 89 — At Los Angeles, the Cougars could not beat the Rams in the Spot Up SoCal Christmas Classic.

Oak Ridge (Calif.) 57, Sierra Vista 53 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Mountain Lions fell to the Trojans in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

San Gabriel Academy (Calif.) 75, Green Valley 58 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Gators lost to the Eagles in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.
