Roundup: Five double-figure scorers lead Foothill past Liberty at home

Collin Russell led five players in double figures with 18 points to power Foothill’s boys basketball team to an 84-71 home win at Liberty on Wednesday.

Caleb Stearman added 17 points, Marvin Coleman had 16 points and Dylan Hushaw scored 14 for the Falcons, who also got 10 points from Jace Roquemore.

Julian Strawther scored 17 of his game-high 33 points in the fourth quarter for Liberty. Terrance Marigney had 15 points, and Cameron Burist had 12 points for the Patriots.

Sunrise Mountain 66, Western 63 — At Western, Dalvin Brown poured in 24 points, and the Miners rallied from a 38-18 halftime deficit to top the Warriors.

Steven Adeyemi had 21 points, including five points in the final minute, for Sunrise Mountain.

Ka’Mari Kelly led Western with 19 points. Kizhonie Blunt scored 16 points, and teammate Naadir Smith had 15 points for the Warriors.

Silverado 62, Basic 53 — At Basic, Martell Williams scored 23 points as the Skyhawks held off the Wolves.

Trevon Martin had 12 points for Silverado, which led 25-22 at halftime.

Geoff Faries led all scorers with 29 points for Basic.

Coronado 82, Green Valley 65 — At Green Valley, Jaden Hardy led four players in double figures with a game-high 30 points as the Cougars ran past the Gators.

Eric Alston had 18 points, Tahj Comeaux added 15 points, and Taieem Comeaux supplied 10 points for Coronado, which led 43-27 at halftime.

Michael Jackson led Green Valley with 24 points. Cameron Bower had 11 points, and J.J. Stanley scored 10 for the Gators.

Findlay Prep 96, Faith Lutheran 55 — At Faith Lutheran, Reggie Chaney scored a game-high 25 points, and Bol Bol added 23 points in the Pilots’ dominating victory over the Crusaders.

Jack Schwietz had 13 points, and T.J. Moss and Spencer Washington each scored 10 for Findlay Prep, which led 48-29 at halftime.

Brevin Walter led Faith Lutheran with 21 points. Jaylen Fox (12 points) and Elijah Kothe (10 points) also contributed for the Crusaders.

Palo Verde 59, Shadow Ridge 46 — At Palo Verde, Tieman Allen scored 15 points in the Panthers’ win over the Mustangs.

Dylan Yoro had 14 points, and Mitchell Olsen scored seven for Palo Verde.

Garin Macfarlane led Shadow Ridge with 11 points. Jordan Gray had 10 points, and Richard Box scored nine for the Mustangs.

Mojave 61, Cheyenne 45 — At Mojave, Tyrice Price and Chris Jackson each scored 15 points as the Rattlers downed the Desert Shields.

DeSaun Smith added 13 points for Mojave, which got eight points apiece from Noah Sherrard and John Harper.

Ke’Shawn Hall scored 12 points to pace Cheyenne.

Desert Pines 62, Pahrump Valley 39 — At Desert Pines, Lorenzo Brown scored 16 points as the Jaguars cruised past the Trojans.

Darius Mitchell had nine points, and Dayshawn Wiley added eight points for Desert Pines, which rolled to a 35-15 halftime lead.

Bryce Odegard had nine points, and Antonio Fortin scored eight for Pahrump Valley.

Democracy Prep 84, The Meadows 19 — At The Meadows, Najeeb Muhammed scored 28 points as the Blue Knights routed the Mustangs.

Akeemis Williams added 17 points for Democracy Prep, which raced to a 49-9 halftime lead and held The Meadows to single digits in each quarter.

Allen Fridman had seven points for The Meadows.
