ROUNDUP: Foothill boys claim at least share of Southeast title

Elijah Smith had 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists Thursday as Foothill’s boys basketball team clinched at least a share of the Southeast League title with a 75-57 victory over visiting Basic.

Matt Rapp added 14 points, and Austin Starr had 11 points for the Falcons, who led 46-21 at the half. Kyle Andres had seven points, nine rebounds and five assists for Foothill.

Antraye Johnson had 14 points, and Isaiah Villaros scored 12 for the Wolves, who also got 11 points from Chandler Kamai.

Valley 65, Rancho 22 —
At Rancho, Kafre Roberts scored 15 points as the Vikings clinched at least a share of the Northeast League title with an easy win over the Rams.

Cameron Burton and Gerard Harden each supplied nine points for Valley, which jumped to a 28-12 halftime lead.

Joseph Ortiz led Rancho with six points.

Arbor View 78, Durango 72 — At Arbor View, Terrell Butler scored 25 points, including a game-tying 3-pointer with 51 seconds left, and the Aggies scored the game’s final nine points to beat the Trailblazers.

Justin Burks had 21 points, and Charles Porter added 12 points for Arbor View, which got eight assists from Navonte Hill.

Marc Torres had 24 points, and Tyler Watts posted 21 points for Durango, which got 12 points from Paris Estrada.

Las Vegas 64, Canyon Springs 56 — At Canyon Springs, Juwan Major scored 16 points, and the Wildcats built a 31-18 halftime lead and held off the Pioneers.

Jericho Smith added 12 points, and Aziz Leeks scored 10 for Las Vegas.

Chris Swanson had 12 points, and Gerad Davis chipped in 11 points for Canyon Springs.

Liberty 57, Del Sol 52 —
At Liberty, Elijah Graves had 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists as the Patriots rallied from a 20-15 halftime deficit to top the Dragons.

Melvin Rushing had 10 points, and Kai Nacua added nine points and 10 rebounds for Liberty.

Noah Spearman led Del Sol with 12 points.

Green Valley 45, Silverado 29 —
At Green Valley, Tyrell Crosby had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Gators by the Skyhawks.

Clyde Austin added seven points for Green Valley.

Joe Baldi scored 16 for Silverado.

Eldorado 65, Coronado 43 —
At Eldorado, D.J. Billingsley scored 14 points as the Sundevils defeated the Cougars.

D’Quan Crockett added 11 points, and Darrion Daniels scored 10 for Eldorado, which used a 26-7 second-quarter burst to take a 40-20 halftime lead.

Jordan Willis led Coronado with 11 points.

Palo Verde 74, Spring Valley 45 — At Palo Verde, Eris Winder poured in 18 points to lead 11 scorers as the Panthers cruised past the Grizzlies.

Connor Lemmon added 12 points for Palo Verde.

Brant Berglund paced Spring Valley with 10 points.

Shadow Ridge 77, Sierra Vista 59 — At Shadow Ridge, Kealyn Butler led a balanced attack with 13 points as the Mustangs topped the Mountain Lions.

Deundrea Williams had 11 points, and Terell Bowden added eight points, eight assists and three steals for Shadow Ridge, which also got eight rebounds from Zhyere Ducksworth.

DeJuan Smith had 13 points, and Apollo Corley and Tanner Lewis each scored 11 for Sierra Vista.

Lincoln County 56, Lake Mead 45 — At Panaca, Chandler Katschke scored 16 points and had 12 rebounds as the Lynx beat the Eagles.

Ryan Rippetoe had 19 points, and Preston Avery scored 10 for Lincoln County.

Wesley Brule scored 17, and Caleb Pitman had 14 points for Lake Mead.

Pahranagat Valley 49, Beaver Dam (Ariz.) 36 — At Alamo, Tyler Higbee had 12 points, and the Panthers raced to a 32-16 halftime lead en route to a win over the Diamondbacks.

Kyle Martinez had 15 points for Beaver Dam.
