ROUNDUP: Foothill edges Eldorado in overtime to open season

Evan Roquemore hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime and finished with 41 points as visiting Foothill downed Eldorado’s boys basketball team 106-97 on Tuesday.
Ty Copeland scored 16 points and Chris Clemente added 15 for Foothill.
Curtis Stewart scored 27 points to lead the Sundevils. Ariel Baggett added 19 points, DaQuon Thrower had 18 and Keyshuan Washington scored 13 for Eldorado.
Legacy 66, Valley 58 — At Legacy, Ira Haywood scored eight of his 20 points in overtime as the Longhorns downed the Vikings.
Legacy’s Brian McDaniel, who finished with 13 points, hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final minute of regulation to force overtime, and the Longhorns outscored Valley 10-2 in the extra period.
Sam Johnson had 14 points and nine rebounds, and Zach Lane had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Longhorns.
Valley’s Khristian Kirkwood led all scorers with 23 points. Christian Kessee added 13 points for the Vikings.
Rancho 79, Del Sol 63 — At Rancho, Tyler Gaston had 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Rams built a 20-4 first-quarter lead and cruised past the Dragons.
Amir Royal had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Rancho. Kris Hall added 15 points, Kevin Plascenia had 13 and Antonio Boucher contributed 10 for the Rams.
Devontti Gilmore led Del Sol with 20 points.
Faith Lutheran 68, Pahrump Valley 52 — At Faith Lutheran, Brett Lubbe scored 17 points and Sam Done added 16 to help the Crusaders defeat the Trojans.
Don Pearson chipped in 10 points for Faith Lutheran, which pulled away with a 16-5 fourth-quarter run.
Daniel Shimakawa led Pahrump with 17 points.
Desert Oasis 75, Sunrise Mountain 52 — At Sunrise Mountain, Cameron Jefferson had 21 points to lead the Diamondbacks past the Miners.
Anthony Lianzo and Nick Cruz each added 17 points for Desert Oasis, which outscored Sunrise Mountain 26-11 in the third quarter to pull away.
Matthew Marshall scored 17 points to lead Sunrise Mountain. Fharhaad Zinnamon added 12 points for the Miners.
Chaparral 50, Basic 45 — At Chaparral, Bre Onta Griffin tallied 15 points and Devonte White added nine to help the Cowboys defeat the Wolves.
Nick Sangchaloay and Tony Jones each scored 15 points for Basic.
Centennial 63, Desert Pines 55 — At Desert Pines, Aaseem Dixon had 18 points, and Ben Vozzola added 17 as the Bulldogs beat the Jaguars.
Centennial outscored Desert Pines 20-12 in the third quarter after leading by two at halftime.
Tyler Larson led Desert Pines with 19 points. Caleb Myles added 14 points, and Chancellor Davis scored 12 for the Jaguars.
Arbor View 69, Virgin Valley 57 — At Arbor View, Pierson Heath had 15 points and eight rebounds, and Brian Vignaud had 13 points and six rebounds to lead the Aggies over the Bulldogs.
Darington Banks and Anthony Trepagnier each added 10 points for Arbor View.
Cameron Jensen led Virgin Valley with 23 points, and teammate Jason Wittwer scored 11.
Western 77, Mojave 59 — At Western, Kentrell Washington scored 34 points as the Warriors ran past the Rattlers.
Aaron Buckley supplied 14 points and Albert Miller chipped in 10 for Western, which scored 29 second-quarter points to build a 37-17 halftime lead.
Quintarus Harper had 12 points for Mojave.
Boulder City 66, Mountain View 46 — At Boulder City, Kyle Dimpel scored 14 of his team-high 20 points in the first half as the Eagles cruised past the Saints.
Greg Goodfellow had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Preston Swasey added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Boulder City, which outscored the Saints 19-6 in the third quarter.
Justyn Anderson had 22 points and four assists for Mountain View. Cortland LeBoeuf added 10 points and Karl Benjamin pulled down 12 rebounds for the Saints.
Desert Hills (Utah) 52, Moapa Valley 33 — At Overton, Desert Hills used a 20-3 second-quarter run to down the Pirates.
Josh Thompson led Moapa Valley with seven points.
Henderson International 47, Laughlin 46 — At Laughlin, Jay Sutorius scored 28 points to help the Wolverines nip the Cougars in overtime.
The Meadows 58, Trinity 54 — At Mirabelli Gym, Garrett Gosse had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Dylan Lee added 10 points and 14 rebounds as the Mustangs held off the Thunder.
Beatty 59, Adelson School 34 — At Beatty, Anthony Regalado scored 22 points and had eight rebounds and six assists to help the Hornets down Adelson.
Ramiro Hernandez added 10 points, and Anthony Turner had nine points and 16 rebounds for Beatty.
Gabi Bornstein led the Lions with 14 points.
