ROUNDUP: Gorman girls fall behind early in loss to Sacramento in Phoenix

Sacramento (Calif.) grabbed a 25-17 halftime lead Tuesday and didn’t let up in a 62-47 win over Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team in the Tournament of Champions in Phoenix.
Aaryn Ellenberg had 19 points and seven steals, and April Rivers scored 11 for the Gaels, who finished fourth in the Mike Desper Division of the tournament.
Chaparral (Colo.) 80, Centennial 73 — At Phoenix, Chaparral downed Centennial in the 13th-place game of the Gray Division at the Tournament of Champions.
Marymount (Calif.) 66, Mojave 55 — At Phoenix, Marymount defeated Mojave in the fifth-place game of the Black Division at the Tournament of Champions.
BOYS
Pahranagat Valley 64, White Pine 28 — At Alamo, Cody Hosier scored 14 points, and the host Panthers rolled to a 34-10 halftime lead in routing White Pine.
Dustin Poulsen added 12 points, and Tyler Higbee scored 11 for Pahranagat Valley.
Tyler Watts led the Bobcats with nine points.
