ROUNDUP: Jaguars clinch share of I-A Sunrise boys title

Julian Jacobs scored 20 points, and Donavin Wright added 17 points on Wednesday as Desert Pines’ boys basketball team clinched at least a share of the Division I-A Sunrise League title with a 90-53 win at Sunrise Mountain.

Re’meake Keith scored 15 points, and Trevion Turner and Malik Davis each had 13 points for the Jaguars.

Jason Ford supplied 13 points, and Shmarlio Tolliver had 10 points for the Miners.

Bonanza 76, Desert Oasis 53 — At Desert Oasis, Cameron Ladson had 21 points to help the Bengals to an easy win over the Diamondbacks.

DeAndre Hicks scored 17 points, Devanta Price had 15 points, and Rio Justice Chandler added 12 points for Bonanza.

Noah Jefferson and Devin Fortenberry each had 14 points to lead Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 77, Cimarron-Memorial 56 — At Cimarron, Trey Kennedy scored 20 points to lead the Gaels over the Spartans.

Rashad Muhammad added 15 points for Gorman, which outscored Cimarron 26-17 in the second quarter to take a 36-27 halftime lead.

Stephen Zimmerman had 12 points, and Chase Jeter scored 10 for the Gaels.

Austin Garrison led Cimarron with 13 points. J.C. Broussard and Amani Gill added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Chaparral 59, Moapa Valley 40 —
At Overton, Tyree McNeal scored 16 points to lead the Cowboys to a win over the Pirates.

Patrick Savoy added 14 points for Chaparral, which outscored Moapa Valley 34-16 in the middle two quarters. The Cowboys also shot 21-for-26 from the free-throw line.

Jackson Mortensen had 12 points for Moapa Valley.

Faith Lutheran 72, Western 50 — At Faith Lutheran, Clayton Holthaus and Stuart Engs each had 12 points to help lead the Crusaders to a win over the Warriors.

John Molchon added 10 points, and Austin Ortwein supplied nine points for Faith Lutheran, which raced to a 44-24 halftime lead.

Travis Dunn led Western with 22 points, and teammate Alezae Porter added 10 points.

Boulder City 62, Tech 31 — At Boulder City, Tanner Howell scored 15 points as the Eagles routed the Roadrunners.

Michael Kelso had eight points, and Joe Miller and Chris Nilsen each supplied seven points for Boulder City, which held Tech scoreless in the second quarter to take a 21-5 halftime lead.

Josh West had seven points for the Roadrunners.

Cheyenne 69, Pahrump Valley 29 — At Cheyenne, Daveion Wright scored 19 points, and teammate Deonte Perkins had 15 points, 10 steals, and eight rebounds to lead the Desert Shields to victory over the Trojans.

Jarrell Bell added nine points, seven assists, and six rebounds for Cheyenne, which got nine points from Stanley Blake.

Dalton Beighley led Pahrump with nine points.

Clark 71, Mojave 39 — At Mojave, Diontae Jones had 21 points, and the Chargers outscored the Rattlers 43-18 in the middle two quarters en route to the win.

Sherron Wilson added 12 points, and Malcolm Davis scored 10 for Clark.

Devin Flowers led Mojave with 10 points.

Pahranagat Valley 38, Spring Mountain 20 — At Alamo, Tyler Higbee scored 17 points to help the Panthers beat the Eagles.

Austin Poulson added 12 points for Pahranagat Valley, which outscored Spring Mountain 11-2 in the third quarter.

Develle Williams led Spring Mountain with nine points.
