Roundup: Justin Evans rallies Innovations past Word of Life

Justin Evans had 28 points and 18 rebounds to rally Innovations International’s boys basketball team to a 70-63 home win over Word of Life on Tuesday night.

Jordan Allison added 15 points, Jaheim Ray scored 13 for the Ambassadors, who trailed 52-43 after three quarters.

Jaiden Stuckey led Word of Life with 16 points. Bryce Ethridge had 15 points, Isaac Lopez had 11 points, and Jared House scored 10 for the Eagles.

Our Savior New American (N.Y.) 71, Liberty 62 — At Bishop Gorman, Julian Strawther finished with 26 points and eight rebounds in the Patriots’ loss to Our Savior New American.

Pahranagat Valley 53, Lincoln County 51 — At Panaca, the Panthers out-scored the Lynx 18-7 in the fourth quarter to claim the victory.

Culen Highbe had nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter for the Panthers, Brodey Maxwell scored 11, and Richard Lewis scored 10.

Kobe Walker led the Lynx with 13 points, and Alex Vincent scored 12.
