Roundup: Karson Bailey’s all-around day lifts Boulder City

Karson Bailey had eight points, nine rebounds and five blocks Wednesday as Boulder City’s boys basketball team beat Valley View (California) 55-42 in the Paloma Valley Winter Shootout at Lake Elsinore, California.

Derrick Thomas led Boulder City with 15 points, and Ethan Speaker scored 10.

Jasper Dunagan had 10 points for Valley View.

Centennial 76, MEI Academy (Canada) 47 — At Rancho Mirage, California, Ishon Hardin scored 16 points as the Bulldogs took down the Eagles in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Aaryn Anderson had 11 points for the Bulldogs, and Steve Giles and Teon Taylor each chipped in 10 points.

Isaiah Reymon scored a game-high 32 points for the Eagles.

Cimarron-Memorial 80, Casteel (Ariz.) 69 — At Carlsbad, California, Brian Washington led the Spartans with 20 points in their victory over the Colts in the Holiday Classic.

Brian Lang added 19 points for the Spartans.

Deven Franks led Casteel with 18 points.

Imhotep Charter (Pa.) 53, Bishop Gorman 49 — At Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jamal Bey scored 13 points, but the Gaels fell to the Panthers.

Noah Taitz added 12 points for the Gaels, who shot just 37 percent from the field.

Jamil Riggins led the Panthers with 14 points.

Bellevue (Wash.) 70, Foothill 62 — At Rancho Mirage, California, Marvin Coleman had 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but the Falcons fell to the Wolverines in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Dylan Hushaw also scored 17 for the Falcons, and Jace Rocquemore had 15 points. Foothill’s Caleb Stearman added 10 points.

Andrew Kenny had 23 points and nine rebounds to lead Bellevue.

Yucaipa (Calif.) 61, Del Sol 51 — At Nogales, California, Nati Asfaw had 15 points, but the Dragons couldn’t top the Thunderbirds in the San Gabriel Valley Christmas Invitational.

Keith Seldon scored 13 for the Dragons, and Devonte Anton Villarta scored 11.

Brandon Thies led Yucaipa with 18 points.

Canyon Springs 75, Godinez (Calif.) 36 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Pioneers topped the Grizzly Bear in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Edison (Calif.) 60, Green Valley 40 — At Rancho Mirage, California, Antoine Hines scored 11 points, but the Gators could not overcome the Chargers in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Bishop Montgomery (Calif.) 103, Coronado 67 — At Torrance, California, the Cougars lost to the Knights in the Spot Up SoCal Christmas Classic.

St. George’s School (Canada) 59, Sierra Vista 56 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Mountain Lions dropped a decision to St. George’s School in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.

Woodcreek (Calif.) 62, Palo Verde 47 — At Rancho Mirage, California, the Panthers fell to the Timberwolves in the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational.
