Roundup: Keith Seldon’s 3-pointer gives Del Sol win over Moapa Valley

Keith Seldon hit a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left to lift Del Sol’s boys basketball team to a 46-43 home win over Moapa Valley on Wednesday.

Seldon scored a game-high 23 points. Taariq Flowers had eight points, and teammate Nati Asfaw added seven points for the Dragons, who trailed 35-34 after three quarters.

Nathaniel Thompson scored 19 points to lead the Pirates.

Canyon Springs 103, Cheyenne 76 — At Cheyenne, Kevin Legardy poured in 38 points to lead the Pioneers past the Desert Shields.

De’Shawn Keperling had 17 points, Alexander Spaight scored 16, and Mervin Soares added 11 for Canyon Springs, which bolted to a 52-37 halftime lead.

Cheyenne put five players in double figures, led by Ke’Shawn Hall with 20 points and Jermaine McCormick with 15. Damion Bonty had 12 points, and Kavon Williams and Glen Taylor each scored 10 points for Cheyenne.

Valley 49, Rancho 42 — At Valley, Bryce Jones tallied 21 points to help lift the Vikings over the Rams.

Oscar Burns added 12 points for Valley, which used an 18-9 fourth quarter burst to pull away.

Jahleel Stevens scored 14 points to lead Rancho.

Boulder City 54, Tech 34 — At Tech, Derrick Thomas scored 14 points to help the Eagles soar past the Roadrunners.

Karson Bailey added 12 points for Boulder City, which led 16-2 after one quarter.

Jurelle Orbino scored 14 points to lead Tech.

Desert Oasis 70, Bonanza 47 — At Desert Oasis, Jacob Heese poured in a game-high 25 points as the Diamondbacks downed the Bengals.

Nate Van had 11 points, and teammate Kamari Burnside scored 10 for Desert Oasis, which made seven 3-pointers.

Marc Navarro and Zioan Blakeney each had 14 points to lead Bonanza.

Clark 96, Spring Valley 33 — At Clark, James Bridges hit seven 3-pointers and led all scorers with 26 points in the Chargers’ victory over the Grizzlies.

Jalen Hill added 16 points, Trey Woodbury had 14 points and Ian Alexander scored 10 for Clark, which led 33-7 after the first quarter.

Jaydyn Dalton led Spring Valley with eight points.

Virgin Valley 58, Sky Pointe 22 — At Virgin Valley, Meb Hollingshead scored 14 points as the Bulldogs defeated the Eagles.

Jayden Perkins had 12 points for Virgin Valley, which drained seven 3-pointers.

Jaden Macfarlane and Treveonne Swift each scored nine points to pace Sky Pointe.
